Florac is located in the Cévennes National Park (the castle is its administrative headquarters with a reception point)
privileged place for holidays in the great outdoors.

The village is at the crossroads of Mont Lozère (observatory to visit) causses (hiking and discovery of dolmens), the Gorges du Tarn (canoeing and kayaking) and the Jonte valley (reintroduction of Vultures).

The causses are since 2011 classified World Heritage of UNESCO.

You can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities and recreation sensations such as canyoning, mountain biking, hiking, canoe-cayak, climbing, caving, fishing, swimming ...

From Florac, many hiking trails allow you to discover very different landscapes
