"Absolutely fabulous! We loved our stay at Oar House. The amenities were excellent; air con, kitchen fully stocked with utensils, large fridge/freezer, coffee maker (pod or filter), ample towels & bedding to name a few. Its a great location for venturing out to the nearby state parks and other attractions, so all in all we had a great time. Thanks Andy, for sharing your property with us and it was also great to meet your dad; such a lovely guy!"

"We just loved it1 The property is so well appointed. It's decorated and updated but keeps some original charm. The owner provides plenty of consumables and linens/towels which is such a treat. It was clean and efficient. We did not cook much, we ordered out. It was the perfect place and location to gather with local friends and family. The owner was highly responsive and a generous host!! We have found our place in Altoona!"

I Highly recommend finding the house in the daylight. Charlene was sweet enough to leave us Staples in the refrigerator and muffins and fruit for our arrival. I highly recommend this home "
