The location of the property was ideal for my family. The management company was great and very supportive and responsive. The overall cleanliness of the place was fairly good but there was trash under one of the beds upstairs, one of the towels had a very sour smell and the bedding for one of the upstairs bedrooms looked dirty but probably more likely just needs to be replaced. If that was all we dealt with I would have given a much better review but I can’t recommend this place to anyone. Here’s why. 1. The on demand water heating system is terribly inadequate.2. Exterior lighting also terribly inadequate because of being controlled by motion sensors that didn’t work properly. Potentially dangerous navigating exterior stairs when lights won’t come on. 3. Bugs in the basement. (Spiders, beetles & centipedes)4. No means to hang clothes or a coat in the basement bedroom. 5. Primary bedroom mattress is in terrible condition. 6. The house is a little rundown. There was a chair and a cabinet that were broken and the wood floors were in bad shape.7. A serious crack in front walkway and no exterior lighting to see the trip hazard in the dark. This property has real potential, with great outdoor space and probably was very nice at one time but it seems it is deteriorating faster than the upkeep. It just needs some significant TLC.

Great pool and hot tub

Seamless Checkin. 20 min from airport/ Asheville. Family enjoyed the clean large pool and hot tub. Plenty of living space for our family of 8. Game room could use some maintenance. Overall would recommend this beautiful home.

Asheville Summer Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The location in Fletcher was great. It was only about a 20 minute drive into Asheville. The layout of the house was nice. Primary suite on main level and our daughters had the two bedrooms upstairs. There was an issue with one of the showers but a repairman came out the same day to fix it. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Overall, fantastic!

family getaway

Such a spacious and family friendly vacation home. My kids loved the pool and games room, and there was plenty of room for all of us. We had a great time! Have already recommended this home to friends.

Holiday in Asheville

Excellent house for a family of 12! The back yard with a firepit and volleyball net was a big hit for everyone. The kitchen was nicely furnished especially during the Thanksgiving holiday. The grandkids spent a lot of time down in the garage playing on all the games. The sofa bed could use an additional pad b/c the mattress is extremely thin otherwise all the beds were very comfortable. We all appreciated tv's in each room which helped with all the various interests. We were all a little nervous with the top rack in the dishwasher b/c it felt really lose. Otherwise, everything went really well and was very comfortable.

End of Summer Family Weekend

Our last summer get-a-way with the kids and grandkids and it couldn’t have been any better. Looking for a place that allows both children and pets is rough, but they do. With the pool, hot tub and wonderful game room, there was never a dull moment. The home feels secluded while actually close to the main road to anywhere you might want to go. We spent this last summer trip having fun with the family and this house didn’t disappoint. It was plenty large enough for our group of 7 and 3 dogs. We swam, relaxed, played pool, ping pong and arcade games. We cooked and enjoyed each other. Management was very responsive with any questions and had several great suggestions. What a great stay we had. I would definitely stay here again. It was fabulous!!!

Staycation’esque - But Better!

Tucked away in the hills of Fletcher NC, this gem is a perfect spot for a multi family vacation. The management company was second to none, very accessible and responsive via text and check in and check out were a breeze. Many VRBO properties require so much work to check out - Mighty Tree recognizes you’re paying for a vacation. Simply take the trash out and start the dishwasher. Boom. The pool and hot tub were pristine and in good working order. Suggest to take an activities tent for shade near the pool as trees are not nearby. While we were there firewood was restocked. Propane was restocked. Hot tub was cleaned. It was fabulous. Kitchen is well appointed - easy to cook meals at home and grocery is nearby. We had 10 people and all slept comfortably. Kids made good use of the fire pit. Note! Thoughtful touches include - beach towels provided (plenty!!), TP provided, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, dish soap, dishwasher gel, laundry soap, dryer sheets. Seriously generous and thoughtful. Asheville (proper) is about a 20 min drive, but there are great breweries and restaurants in Fletcher as well. You can literally do as much or as little as you like at this property. Would definitely rent again!

Friends Trip

Overall the house worked out really well for the trip. The kitchen/living room area was open concept which worked great for the group to hang out. The pool and hot tub were nice and they provided beach towels to use. Check in/out process very easy.

Quick weekend getaway

Fletcher Mountain Home

A wonderful house, with view of the mountains, centrally located in the Asheville area, 15 to 30 minutes from great waterfalls and hikes, 10 minutes from the grocery store. Easy check-in and owner very responsive. House is portrayed well on site and lots of amenities. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice house and good communication

We enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub was great. It was winter so didn’t use the pool, but looked big and clean. The house was spacious for the 8 of us and the yard was lovely. Rolling hills and mountains on your drive up give you a country feel only 20m from Asheville. The team was quick to answer and respond to a few minor things even on Christmas Day as I checked in,

Just Perfect!

The house was clean, comfortable, very well-appointed and easy in terms of check-in and check-out processes. The pool was warm and sparkling -- exceeded out expectations. On top of all that the management was attentive and they accept large dogs. Highly recommend!

Pretty Average, Ride share very limited

Pros: Management Communication. Before the trip started, I was very impressed by the management company of this rental. They texted me a couple weeks prior to see if we wanted to extend the stay another day at a discounted rate; we couldn't but it was a nice offer. I could also text them to see if the property had certain items and amenities prior to and throughout the duration of the stay. Size of property: Pool, hot tub, large yard, and size of bedrooms were all nice and fitting for our group. The living room was also nice in size and the kitchen as well. Pool was heated very nicely! Beds and pillows were comfortable, and we liked that there were fans in the bedrooms as well. House was nice and cool, however, very loud in the living room. Cons: The grill grates were not cleaned very well and they appeared corroded so we could not use it. I did not inform management of this, but I think this should have been checked prior to the stay. The overall cleanliness of the property was not appealing. The garage where the games are has quite a few bugs and it doesn't appear to be swept or cleaned but only so often. The games were still enjoyable but we didn't play for long. The rugs and hardwood floors did not appear to be vacuumed very well. On the first day we arrived, we had to sweep - there's no vacuum! - and there was quite a bit of dirt on the main floor. The cabinets (white) could also use a wipe down in some areas. The bathrooms were clean with the exception of the corners of the floors. The pool towels were a little dingy and could stand to be donated and replaced. The blinds weren't in great shape in one of the bedrooms and didn't operate well to keep light out. *Just a heads up and nothing against the property itself as it is out of their control, but we couldn't get a rideshare (Uber or Lyft) from the property. Thankfully we had a rental car but plan to have a DD or a way to get to your destination.
