"This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back "

"I have been to York many times and stayed in many great places around the city but this beats them all. An easy 3 minute walk to Yorkminster, a Sainsbury's out front and The Bootham Tavern pub across the street. The pictures included in the listing are 100% accurate. The flat itself is roomy, well appointed and has all the amenities one expects (more, actually). It was quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. "Dead spider next to dresser table, old stain on bedding cover, cob webs on seating tables outside, leaves swept under the outside sofa cover and dirty sofa under the cover. Could be cleaned a lot more professionally Not hot tub instructions in regards to when the tube gets cold as we tried the second night and it was too cold to stay in. Would be nice to have instructions to re heat. Overall the stay was really nice and I would definitely re visit! "

"This was my first visit to York and the Ryedale cottages was the best place to stay while in the area. The house is lovely with comfortable beds, clean linens, and loads of games to play as a family. There are miles of walking trails and some cheeky sheep to see up the road. The view from the front of the house was beautiful and the hosts were so lovely. We arrived with a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator and a Victoria sponge on the table waiting for us. The kitchen is a bit narrow...
