Looking for a beach retreat that has it all? If so, then look no further than this stunning 4/2.5, oceanfront home! With three stories of beautiful ocean views, updated modern decor, an amazing outdoor area, complete with a fire pit, hot tub, & covered lounging area, & two kitchens, this home has it all! Just a short walk, scooter, or bike ride to the pier & all of the attractions of Flagler Beach, & steps to the beach walkover! Stairway to Heaven is perfect for your next dream beach vacation.

Needs improvement

No windows or floors have been cleaned. The sliding doors barely work. The caulk is missing in MB tub and drain is clogged. Tiles hanging over balconies need to be replaced with something else. One fell when we were there. Paint the doors and weedeat outside.

Great beach access!

This property is in an amazing location with great access to the beach right across the street. The ocean view from the third floor is great. There was plenty of room for our family of six to sleep and enjoy our stay.

The place was beautiful, cozy and we all felt right at home. The view from the balconies are perfect. The neighborhood is quite, beach access is right across the street. Didn't have to go far for anything. Will rent this place again next summer!

Great location, property needs some repairs

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Check in was no issue and the management was company was easy to reach. Both door handles and locks on the two ground floor doors are in such bad shape they need to be completely replaced. I had to use a screwdriver just to temporarily keep the back door closed and locked. I let management know and so hopefully this will get fixed. Place was otherwise clean and the kitchen had every utensil, dish, spice etc you could need.

Great Flagler Location

We enjoyed our stay at stairway to heaven. The view of the water from every floor is excellent, and my seven year old enjoyed the little captains quarters as his room. Be sure to bring a sleep mask for the master bedroom if you donā€™t want to wake up with the sun (although it was very beautiful). We really appreciated that we could walk to our favorite breakfast joints. Itā€™s a great location away from the late night bars but still walkable to a lot of great restaurants. No complaints! The rental group was very responsive and helpful. Check in was simple, and the check out requirements were simple and few which we really appreciated since we had a super early flight to catch.

Nice Vacation

Overall this property was nice. The house was well stocked with lots of towels, soaps, kitchen condiments, etc. The backyard definitely didnā€™t look like the pictures and the upper balcony had lots of rust damage. I wish we knew ahead of time that the walkways to the beach were closed due to hurricane damage. Several locals said they probably wonā€™t be fixed anytime soon. All the close by restaurants were great. The house was located in a quiet part of Flagler Beach. Overall it was a nice trip.

Nice family vacation.

Love the location, close to restaurants and can cross A1A to get to the beach. Unfortunately all the walkovers to the beach were closed and we did not know this prior to our stay. Luckily we had friends staying at Beverly beach so we could have a few beach days. Property manager was great and very responsive!

Great Daytona 500 Option

"Stairway to Heaven" was an excellent option for my colleagues Daytona 500 weekend work trip. The house was close enough to the action without the hassle of the overcrowded and overpriced hotels. There are two full baths in the home and a couple of sleeping quarters that were in common areas but that didn't present a problem for the group. The stairs are narrow, but a lightweight dumbwaiter has been installed to help get groceries from the first floor to the kitchen on the third floor. The homeowner is transparent about the arrangements so there were no surprises when we arrived and ultimately was a very comfortable home for our stay. Overall, this is a very clean property and would book again for a small group.

Surf Paradise

Location is everything. This property is 1 mile from the pier and a stones throw away from solid surf conditions without a crowded lineup. We had three days of great surf. When itā€™s good itā€™s good! Views from every level are epic. The only drawback I would say to this property is that if you have difficulty with stairs this is not a place for you as there are three levels only accessible by stairs. Perfect for us though!

Pictures don't do it justice

It's hard to capture in photos how fantastic this location is. Flagler Beach has always been a secret gem on Florida's east coast, so having a place to stay beachfront in Flagler was awesome. The sunrise views from the 2nd and 3rd floors were fantastic. Literally a 2-block walk to Oceanside (breakfast, lunch and dinner), plus Kool Beanz (coffee, smoothies & wine slushies), and Beach Belly Bob's (sandwiches), meant that we never had to even venture up the beach to the busier restaurants. The house has fun, unique features, and being across the street from an unspoiled, UNCROWDED beach was fantastic. One of our party commented that there was no point in lugging an armload of stuff to the beach since the house is only 50 yards away! If you have a chance, another fun activity is the 700-yard boardwalk back to the Intracoastal/Matanzas River, leaving from Wickline Park, about 1.5 miles north of the house. Or drive down to Gamble Rogers with your kayak, canoe or paddleboard and explore the Matanzas River estuaries (they even have a rental shop). Also, the county allows dogs on the beach, and as of the time of our reservation, dogs were allowed at the house, so ask about bringing your 4-legged friends! At the house, the outside shower was a surprising perk, rinsing off before sitting down for lunch outside or heading into the house. The bedrooms on the second floor are comfortable, and the youngest of our group reports that the Captain's Quarters under the stairs was cozy and comfy. Our biggest "complaint" was that it was really just too hot to be on the front patio much (but it was Florida summertime, and being from Florida, we knew what we were getting into). We can only imagine how great that patio is when the weather cools down. All in all, a fantastic stay and can't wait to come back!
