"Overall was typical run down and basic. No breakfast or anything to eat in the am. However it was near a Applebees. "

"When we stayed here, they lost power from 11 o’clock on a Thursday night and they did not get power until 630 Saturday morning. We booked this hotel partly because it had a continental breakfast. They offered nothing for the inconvenience. When asked if we could get some sort of discount, they kept saying it was an act of God. , they kept saying it was an act of God due to the weather. "Nothing for breakfast except coffee. Door on room did not fit well, allowing visible cracks that showed hallway. Sure seems like someone is living there as the food odors were very strong (and not good) at the same time each night. Check-in took too long, and check-out was even longer. People hanging around lobby during check-out made it very strange and the clerk said nothing so I assume they were related. I will NOT stay at this hotel again."

"My stay at Farmstead Inn was cut short by a storm. We had no electricity after 11:00 pm the first night. The next day the management said they could do nothing about canceling our room for the next night nor could they adjust price for all the inconvenience of having to find another hotel. Absolutely no accommodations, communication, or apologies were made by the property. There was NO plan for an emergency situation, no emergency power lights. They blamed Expedia in one of their conversations....
