"The Dunvegan house sits right on the main street in Brodick overlooking Brodick bay with the main windows framing the Brodick castle and Goatfell. It's really a beautiful location and a short walk from the ferry terminal and all the shops and restaurants in Brodick. The house is clean and comfortable, and the rooms equally so. The room has a hot water kettle and coffee, tea, milk, and biscuits to enjoy. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fruits and cereals available for self-service...

Initial contact was through Expedia messaging where I outlined that I would be arriving late due to disrupted ferry times and if it would be possible to pick my key up after arriving after 11pm. Received a message saying that they could leave my room key somewhere for me to pick up as well as one that said 'You are aware there are no ferries that operate...
"Stunning location overseeing the Bay. The building is superb but badly in need of a full renovation especially the upstairs hallways. The carpets are threadbare & the walls seriously need replastering notwithstanding this the staff were very attentive & efficient. The food was excellent and the place was very clean. All of the above shouldn’t stop you enjoying staying in a stunning victorian hotel. I am sure the owners will eventually get the decor sorted out."
