Take the short walk to the nearest bathing spot and refresh yourself in the lake or take advantage of the good fishing opportunities in the surrounding area.



Hike through deep ravines in the Brattforsheden nature reserve, past relics of the Ice Age and through varied reserves such as Kittelfältet and Geijersdalsmossen. Visit the former wartime airfield with its exciting history or enjoy nature on a canoe trip. Filipstad and Karlstad can be reached by car in a short time or you can use the public transport connections close to the house. Take a trip to the Naturum in Fulufjällets National Park or to the Njupeskär waterfall. In winter, discover the good cross-country ski trails in Filipstad.
