"The property was easy to find with some decent parking. Once there I called the owner, Gaina and she provided the code for the key box. Once upstairs in the loft studio, I was amazed with the space and amenities on hand. On Gaina's advice, I went on an hour long walk near a local river and woodlands. There were plenty of dining options within a decent radius of distance. I had a great night's sleep and was welcomed with a fantastic variety for a continental breakfast to get the day started...

"The breakfast is simple without many options. The room is big and comfortable. The hotel is near the road and not so close to the places to visit in the city."

"Our room was clean and comfortable, we even had an iron and ironing board which was very useful. Hairdryer was good, lovely body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. Good quality bedding and towels. The staff were very courteous and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had an evening meal which was very good, very generous portions and good quality. The breakfasts were excellent. "Unfortunately stayed on a weekend with a wedding, where we were on the first floor above the disco. There's non existent sound proofing and sticky doors that slams as you try to close them. Beware there's also no air con or fans. On the plus side, we had a nicely renovated room and the staff were friendly. We would have loved to have used the spa facilities but the swimming pool closed at 8pm and the spa was closed at that bank holiday weekend."

"It's a very clean and good HOTEL. It's a little bit modern for my taste but the biggest issue I had was that it is far from the city centre where a lot of the activities are if you don't have a car expect to walk or take Uber anywhere."

"We had a great stay. Although our initial room was clean and well-maintained, it lacked WiFi access. However, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and promptly moved us to a larger room with a fantastic internet connection. We were very pleased with the service. Additionally, there was sufficient parking available at the back of the property, and the complimentary breakfast offered a good selection of continental options along with made-to-order hot food. We truly enjoyed our time there!"

"Our accommodation was in a block beside the castle. The window was painted shut, beds were poor, a long walk to toilets and showers and no facilities in the room. The restaurant was closed. I'm ex military and have seen better army barracks."

"Great place to stay. The staff were really friendly, the room was bright, spacious, super clean and all the amenities needed for an overnight stay. We ate dinner and breakfast both meal times provided a great choice and tasted great. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the area"

"Nice little B&B a few yards from the course at Clyne. Small but well appointed twin rooms and a delicious full breakfast served in the clubhouse. Staff and members very hospitable and all four in our party very pleased and would happily stay again. "
