"We enjoyed a quick stay in Chatham County. It was very clean inside, despite the age of the home. The porches and porch chairs could have used a hose off before we arrived! It is very close to the road, but the host was thoughtful and provided a sound machine and earplugs in the bedside drawers. Very comfortable bed. It was a great little place."

Upgrade to bath towels would be a good investment, otherwise everything was fine. The electric door lock broke and owners were unable to repair it during our stay. They provided a key which was an excellent solution. Overall good experience and...

"If you are a person, like me, that brings everything and the kitchen sink when you rent a home away from home STOP!!!!! It is unnecessary here, Chelston has the BEST stocked house I've ever stayed in. Everything you need in the kitchen as far as equipment and seasonings, the only thing you need is actual food, drinks and condiments. As for the bedrooms and bathrooms they were clean and also well supplied. I usually take the pillows from my kids rooms so I have enough and I didn't have to this...
