"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a wonderful stay at the Shooting Lodge. The lodge was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful setting, beautiful views, and wildlife made it the perfect place to relax.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Nothing was too much trouble.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Shooting Lodge"

"The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive."

"What a lovely place to stay. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We parked up the car at the back of the pub and left it there for two days because everything you need is right there. We did a great walk from the pub and bought essentials from the little shop at the campsite opposite. The food at the pub was great . I highly recommend."

"Excellent little house but lots of space! Very deceptive from the outside. Good location and very quiet, but not good if you have any issues with steps. Most enjoy stay "

"Quiet location on a small farm (29 acres) just outside Buxton. Very well equipped kitchen and good internet/wifi.
Friendly helpful owners who live on-site. Great location and a base for the Peak District walks plus there is a nice walk from Cowdale farm to King Sterndale. If you’re into climbing there is a rock face used by climbers less than 500 metres from the accommodation."
