"Room was dusty(baseboards, vents, tv etc), carpet needed vacuumed/cleaned. Hallway dusty. Breakfast area needed a good cleaning. Breakfast was great though. "

"What a treat. We first got the incredible history of the Mansion, a bit of a tour and then settled in to the Governor’s Suite. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room spacious and welcoming and the weekend breakfast was better than any restaurant will serve. We can’t say enough good things about this gem. "

"There was construction happening at the hotel that we were not informed about. The work was very loud, which I understand is normal. However, we were not informed that there was no breakfast offered due to the construction. Also, our room was not vacuumed once during our 4 night stay. There was a piece of paper on the floor in the living room area and was there the entire stay. Not what I would have expected "

"The hotel is very nice. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is amazing for adults who enjoy fine dining. The room was clean and organized. However, since we are seniors, we did not find the shower very welcoming. We like just a plain shower with a shower head above us. Our room was equipped with a spa like shower that spewed water in all different directions and very difficult to operate. The hot and cold adjustments were harsh and hard to move as the shower knobs...
