"This is not a luxury house. Cheap second hand uncomfortable furniture, a smelly oven that may not have been cleaned for years (if ever???) and crockery that we needed to wash before we used it. We are not fussy people, but clean and comfortable should be a bare minimum....
Worst of all though was a chirping smoke alarm on the first floor landing, indicating a dead battery. On closer inspection, there wasn't even a battery fitted!! I offered to replace it if the owner couldn't arrange it for...

"We had everything we needed to make our stay a really good one. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Everything was catered for kitchen wise. Hob, microwave, toaster, kettle all in excellent order. The staff were lovely. Kirsty and Leah in particular could not have been more helpful. Thank you to Deuce for making our stay a great one."

"Very convenient and spacious apartment - the only one on the 5th floor. Lovely to be able to sit on the balcony in the very hot weather, as the flat was quite hot. There is a fan but it wasn't particularly effective. Plenty of storage space, a huge TV and big living area. Comfortable bed.
A few minor niggles - the flat feels a bit tired. Loose carpet in the hall, and loose floor tiles in the bathroom. The bathroom extractor fan did not seem to be working. Some of the venetian blinds were...

"Booked 2 apartments in order to stay over after moving our son into university. Absolutely wish we had booked for a longer stay.
Fantastic rooms with everything you could ask for. The fresh eggs and bread were a wonderful touch and the balcony overlooking the courtyard was a welcome discovery on a warm night. We will absolutely stay again."
