"This camp was perfect for what we were looking for! We loved having our coffee at sunrise and soaking up the sun throughout the day. "Lois greeted me and was very welcoming, showed me some of Paul’s woodwork and showed me around the cabin and grounds. It was extremely peaceful and cozy, very close to bigelow and flagstaff, and a nice fire pit out back, cool outdoor kitchen and comfy bed. I was happy and grateful. "

"Our family traveled to the area for a last minute swim meet. Having not made plans to be traveling, we were unsure of what options we'd have - but the cabin was perfect for a last minute overnight stay. We all slept well, and were able to enjoy the cabin for the brief time we were there. Significantly more space, and much more affordable, than hotel options in the area the same night. A great find and fit for us! "

"We had the best time. This camp is what you expect a lake camp to be - homey and extremely spacious. The loft was a fun treat for the two boys. The deck was excellent where you could see the lake, dock and water trampoline. We saw loons, an eagle, so many fish, geese. The lake water was warm-ish, and very clear. We all loved our time. You won't be disappointed. Thank you."

"We had a wonderful stay during school vacation week. We planned to ski all week, but weather had other plans and closed all the lifts, so we had a lot of extra time at the house. We lost electricity and they were out within 45 minutes to hook up the generator for us. Owner/Mgmt company was super responsive to any messages sent. "This was such a fun experience. My husband and I had a road trip up the east coast. We aren't big campers and this was a great way to get a bit more of a rustic experience without a tent. But yes, you take a canoe to the island. It takes 5 minutes. No electricity, so be prepared for a camp stove and electric lanterns. Loons added a lovely evening sound track. Google map directions worked fine. Mexican restaurant was good. Took a day trip to Camden to hike and have lunch which was lovely. So fun...
