Fair Winds: Tropical Beach House, Stunning Ocean View, Pool, Steps to the Beach!

Fair Winds is a true tropical beach house located on a hill with stunning turquoise ocean views, a lush tropical garden, and a backyard pool oasis! A quick 2 minute walk to our beach access with 1/2 mile of white sand, turquoise waters and a beautiful reef to snorkel and adventure on! The property is very private, with native Bahamian flowers, palms, and trees surrounding the grounds. The house is your home away from home with a beautiful kitchen, stocked with all the amenities a Chef will need! The Great Room is a focal point of the home, perfect for gatherings and enjoying the beautiful turquoise views. The Great Room, featuring built-in soft seating and a dining table for 8 guests, has stunning high ceilings and a wall of windows to look out over the ocean and palm trees! There are three bedrooms, 2 King bedrooms upstairs with 2 full baths, and the Garden Room located on the lower level has a Queen bed and a Twin bed with an on suite full bath. The wrap around deck provides a great place to enjoy the Bahamian breezes, tropical bird songs, and of course -THE VIEW! After a quick swim at the beach, enjoy the outdoor shower and NEW POOL and Gazebo Oasis with an outdoor bathroom. The outdoor barstools and rail provide the perfect spot for coffee or drinks while listening to the waves crash.

We are less than 10 minutes from the airport and within walking distance of a grocery and liquor store.

We can guide you to easy car and boat rentals or other island excursions to fall in love with Exuma!

Wonderful home that Kristen and Brian have made for their guests! It had everything we needed and more! We loved coming back every day after a long day in the water and sun to relax here! We enjoyed sitting on The bench and table and playing card games as a family! We had one small issue with hot water and Keno fixed it immediately! Extremely responsive hosts and a great place to stay! Highly recommend!

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at Fair Winds! The house was very clean and well maintained. The house is in a great location and very close to a beautiful beach. The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking needs and it was a bonus that there were also condiments and spices available. The owners were very responsive and helpful when we needed support. My favorite thing about this house was the seating area around the kitchen table. It was so spacious and comfortable. I loved sitting there in the morning with my cup of coffee to enjoy the view! We would definitely come back again.

Lovely home

An excellent house for a week getaway

Four of us stayed for a week at Fair Winds. What an excellent house. It had everything we needed to cook meals there, which we enjoy doing. Just a short stroll to the beach and had it mostly to ourselves most days. We rented a car and made our way around the island to see the sights. The owners were helpful with suggestions, always responded quickly, and helped us make sure we had the best time possible.This house is worth a second stay in our future! Thanks Kristen for all you did to help us with the booking and stay.

Fair Winds

This was our first visit to Exuma and Kristen has been great to communicate with from the moment we booked Fair Winds till the moment we left. The house is everything the listing says and more. It’s a home away from home, the decor is perfect, the story of the house is even better. Kristen has thought of everything you could need while on vacation. Perfect location, not far from the airport and central to both sides of the island. You can walk to 2 beaches from the home also. We will definitely be back.

Great Place

We had a great stay. Nicely decorated, clean, and well organized with plenty of room for our family.Communication was terrific and proactive.The beach was a minute or two walk from the house. We preferred exploring during the day but it was a nice spot to visit in the mornings/evenings.

Fair Winds is a great house just few minutes away from the beach, thoughtfully decorated, very cosy but spacious at the same time, with plenty of space to host 5 of us, and would accommodate more people if some of them are couples. The house has everything provided to make you feel at home. Kristen, the owner, went well and beyond and was super accommodating and provided with a lot of tips and recommendations and was responding to all of our questions very promptly. Highly recommend this property!

Perfection in Paradise

Our stay at Fair Winds in Exuma was amazing. The house and property are wonderful spaces to relax and enjoy the island life. From short walks down to the beach for incredible sunrises, to sitting on the porch to watch serene sunset, to perfect family meals around the big dining room table, everything was better than we could have hoped for. Kristin was the perfect host and gave us all the local tips on where to eat and what activities not to miss. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful property

The house & grounds are beautiful & well kept. The size was perfect for our family of 5 to sit, sleep & spread out. Central location to drive around the Island. Beach was very close but waves were bigger here during our stay, but our teenagers did not mind. Owner is very easy to Communicate with.

Great Spot!

Everything was great. It was a short walk to the beach that was basically private as no one else was there. Ocean views and a great living/dining area with ocean views! Definitely recommend!

Lovely getaway

We spent a great month at Fair Winds. The house is attractive and very comfortable. We headed often to local beaches, did some bonefishing, found fun restaurants, and relaxed on the deck. The owners were very accommodating of our needs and local contact, Keno, helped with household requests and local recommendations. Love that hospitality!

A small piece of paradise!

The house was perfect, a little piece of paradise! We rented a boat one day and went on a half day excursion saw the pigs feed the iguanas! Hope to be back soon! Great Experience!! Highly recommend!!

An amazing home away from home in paradise

Thank u so much Kristen for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had everything we needed and more. The house is even better than the pictures. The beach right by the house was so beautiful and we always had it to ourselves. Kristen was always available for any questions and every recommendation she gave us was top notch. We wanted a relaxing vacation to recharge and it was exactly that. I feel in love with Exuma and plan to return and hope to stay at Fair Winds again.

Breezy and Beautiful View!

We loved Fair Winds! The house is beautifully decorated and appointed. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed many meals in the spacious dining area. Love the porch and the back garden. We were so comfortable, it was hard to leave! The beach is a short walk. The ocean was rather rough and wavy when we were there, but I enjoyed the surf. The star gazing at night was amazing! And we appreciated the small touches. Only issue was that the bar area wine chiller and ice machine were not working during our stay. Would be a good idea to add some ice trays to the freezer in case this happens again. Thank you for a fantastic stay!
