"It's a building with several apartments so ours did not exactly match the photos, but it did look similar enough. We were on the second floor and there was no lift - something to be aware of if you have trouble with stairs. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were lovely and soft. The sofa was a little small but comfortable enough. The apartment was clean, but some of the kitchen utensils were dirty, presumably from previous guests. The oven did not work for us. "Lovely cottage, I was unsure when booking as there wasn’t photos of all the rooms, however they were all great. The location was perfect, right by The Roaches, great for walks from the door step and close by to other amazing locations in the Peak District. "The pictures don't do the place justice, the location is great and its minutes walk into Borrowash for shops and pubs etc and only a few minutes drive into Derby. The place is quiet and very clean and well maintained, secure and welcoming. "We loved everything about this place. It's in a fantastic rural setting, and is very comfortable. The apartment is clean, spacious and very well equipped. Outside the gardens are lovely, and there are views of fields and trees on both sides. The host provided lots of interesting information about the local area, and there were walks from the doorstep. This is a great location for exploring the Peak District."
