"We are a couple in our 40s. This place was perfect for us to stay. Easy check-in/check-out process. Very clean. Fully stocked kitchen and nice dining/living room area to relax in. Great location with the Farmer's Market right outside and plenty of nice restaurants within walking distances. Steep steps in the common area up to the apartment, but a nice sturdy railing to hold on to. So long as no accessibility needs, would HIGHLY recommend this place to stay."

"We could not have asked for a better place, very comfortable, spacious, a very welcoming host (even invited us to dinner at his son’s restaurant), but the best part was an amazing property. If you love old farm houses this as good as it gets!We did the Driftless 100 in Elkader and stayed 2 nights maximizing everything from the modern kitchen to the comfy living room & beds to a perfectly placed fire pit to watch the sunset and sip bourbon after the race. "

"We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend the townhouse unless you or someone in your party has issues with steps. It has lots of steps. The house was warm when we arrived, and it took a while for the "master bedroom" on the 4th floor to cool down. We closed the door to that staircase, and that seemed to help. Lots of good restaurants in the area, and it seemed to be very walkable. The furnishing seemed to be in good shape. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Cheryl’s house in Dubuque. The home is very comfortable with everything we needed. Beds are comfortable (the bed in the master is huge!). The dog loved the very large fenced yard. Cheryl was very helpful and communicative and had some great suggestions of restaurants in the area. "
