May have been the site of a Medieval building, but by 1655 it came into the hands of the Walcot family, who were Royalists with very close ties to Charles I. Hogarths Stone Manor
Room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. Bed was far too soft, and not enough pillows. Food was fab and serving staff very attentive, but the service charge added to our final bill was excessive. We didn’t get to take advantage of the grounds as the weather was very wet and the spa was only treatment ...
