Just a 5-minute drive from the center of Fano and its two beaches (one with pebbles and one with sand), you’ll find this country house with a large garden, featuring many centuries-old trees.
The house is isolated in the fields, yet only 5 minutes from the city center!
The house has a 5m x 10m swimming pool.
This beautiful, old house is full of charm, with its sundial and columns, its avenue of pines, oaks, and other varieties of trees.
It is not at all a luxurious house, but rather a typical home of the Marche region—old, well-maintained, rural, and truly very simple, a bit vintage as a result. It has retained its original charm and is ideal for a large family or groups of friends to spend a few days together.
On the ground floor, there is a large, high-ceilinged living room with a dining area (although meals are most often taken outside to enjoy the garden and summer), a kitchen with a large refrigerator, a small lounge/library leading to the staircase, and a bathroom accessible from the library. There are sofa beds in both living rooms. Also on the ground floor, there is a bedroom, another bathroom, and a small lounge that can also serve as a bedroom.
Upstairs, there are 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one of which is inside a bedroom, while the other two are accessible from the hallway.
In total, the house can accommodate 30 people (13 on the ground floor, considering the sofa beds, and 17 upstairs), in a very authentic setting with the charm of an old house and a large garden.
Fano has a very pleasant city center, historically rich and elegant, with many shops. The beach area, younger and more dynamic, is ideal for enjoying summer activities (beaches, swimming, cycling, etc.).
The hinterland, from Fano towards Urbino, is magnificent, with typically Italian hills and completely authentic small villages, where you often find delicious little restaurants. Urbino, for its part, is one of the most beautiful Renaissance cities in Italy and is absolutely worth visiting. It is only a 50-minute drive away. Also, 50 minutes by car, you’ll find the Conero of Ancona, a mountain that plunges into the sea. It’s a remarkable site, and the beautiful small towns of Numana and Sirolo, for example, are worth a day trip, while the Conero offers, at its base, beautiful beaches (such as Porto Novo beach).
A few minutes by car from the house, there is a very convenient supermarket, Auchan, which is also open on Sundays and late in the evening on weekdays and Saturdays.
For your information, sheets and towels are included in the rental for a very small supplement of 5 euros per person.
