We arrived at the inn at 5pm and were told there was no electricity due to the storm the day before. The power had been off for 14 hours at that time. We came back after dinner and there was still no power. I'm sympathetic to their plight, but If the owners had told us about this many hours sooner we would have had time to find another place to stay, but by then we stopped at two places that were fully booked and finally decided to drive back to our home in Boston.

Wonderful historic inn
We had a lovely one-night stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who needs to stay in or near Falmouth. The innkeepers are so hospitable and gave us lots of information on local restaurants, points of interest etc. We walked to one of their recommendations for dinner and it didn’t disappoint. In the house everything is beautifully clean and comfortable with lots of period detail. We stayed in the ‘Captain’s Room’ which has a very small bathroom, it was not a problem for us but maybe choose a different room if having lots of bathroom space is important to you. Oh and the whole breakfast experience was fantastic, it’s not just your standard eggs, toast & cereals type affair - we particularly enjoyed Bob’s pancakes.

Barb and Bob were the best host you could ask for! Incredible breakfast and vast knowledge of the area and local restaurants, excursions to check out ! We highly recommend Captain Tom Lawrence House Inn where we stayed during Labor Day weekend. The inn was quaint with a beautiful/comfortable room and the eating area was so warm and inviting. Bob and his wife made us feel most welcome and gave us many good suggestions for local sites. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, homemade bread and french toast stuffed with fresh strawberries. We will definitely return to Captain Tom Lawrence Inn when we return to Cape Cod. Thanks to the staff for a very enjoyable stay. :)

The breakfasts varied each day and were delicious! The home was very clean and cosy. Our hosts Barbara and Bob were simply delightful and so helpful and friendly! A wonderful stay!

Property was very pretty from outside / lovely front garden. It was in an excellent location and manager has lots of information about the locality. Breakfast was freshly cooked but too adventurous for us / would’ve preferred a little bit of choice. Bathroom was tiny.

Hello we enjoyed having you as guests and appreciate the review. I so wish you would have taken me up on making you scrambled eggs, I was happy to accommodate you with alternatives. We also always have a fruit bowl, yogurts, breakfast bars, cereals and milk available. I am working on a plan to make up menus the day before and placing them in the rooms, this could help our guests with dietary preferences. Look for this in the future. We are glad you enjoyed your stay in Falmouth and Captain Lawrence Inn.

The property is really well located in Falmouth with easy access for places to eat etc on foot. Both Bob and Barb were very welcoming and the breakfasts were fantastic, the breakfasts varied everyday and were very different from the normal. An excellent stay.

Great. We left early, before breakfast time, Bob made breakfast sandwiches and coffee, to go for my wife and I. Awesome experience. Very clean and quiet. Barb showed us our room and gave us a brief history of the house. We would definitely stay again.

Great little inn, owner was very nice! Myself & 4 other girls were looking for one large room to accommodate all of us, this was the only place i could find to do so. Beautiful property!

Not quite perfect.
The inn is on a busy road, but the noise wasn't noticeable indoors. It was attractive and clean. The inn is well located near the rail trail bike path and an easy 10 minute walk into town. The innkeepers, Bob and Barb, were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfasts were very good. Our room was quite small for a king bed; a queen bed would be more appropriate for the room and allow for a comfortable chair and room to move around. The most annoying thing was the poor wifi service. Bob tried to reset it but it never worked, and other guests mentioned it as well. Given the high cost of the room we expected easy and good access to wifi and certainly, a larger room.

I will continue to work on the WIFI. We have improved the reception but still have work to do. We will have the problem solved should you choose to give us another try.

A great place to stay with fabulous hosts
Selected the Inn as a base for exploring the Cape. It's a lovely old building ideally located as only a short walk to the shops and restaurants of Falmouth. The hosts were great - lovely people, totally focused on making our stay pleasant and full of suggestions of places to visit and things to do. It really was a perfect stay and one we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

This place was great! Right next to 7-11 and Grumpy's bar is next to that. The managers greeted us at the door and made sure we were all set. We only stayed one night, but next time it will be longer!

Old mansion Converted and updated in central location a block away from the downtown business district, the bike path and Grumpy’s. Beautiful breakfast room and landscaping. A true Cape Cod B and B experience.

The Inn Keepers were not friendly or welcoming and they did not show us a tour of the B&B or ask if we needed anything or help even for food or suggestions. There was no coffee provided and because I paid more for a cottage suite, breakfast was not included as it had a kitchen. This is not how you run and manage a B&B.

Obsessed with this amazing place.
We had the best experience possible. The owners were EXTREMELY nice and completely accommodating. They told us the best restaurants, some cool history, and even made us a to-go breakfast as we had to wake up early. We will definitely be staying here again.

The negative for us was NO internet in actual room. We had to go down stairs into common area for it. Otherwise it was lovely and the hosts were very welcoming.

Thank you so much for staying with us, we are so glad you enjoyed yourselves! The internet issue was temporary - the extenders had to be reset and wifi again reaches all areas of the inn. We hope to be able to welcome you again in the future!

Excellent breakfast & convenient location.
An excellent breakfast was prepared by the "locum" managers who were very friendly. The Inn is perfectly situated for a short walk to the Steamship company's car park & FREE shuttle down to the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Unfortunately without a "resident owner/manager" some parts of the Inn are getting a bit "tired" and advice on local attractions etc was limited due to the temporary managers not being from the local area.

Great location
Rented the apartment with kitchenette. It had a great living space to spend the rainy days we experienced. So close to Main Street Falmouth with great shops and restaurants. French Cafe is my favorite. Also down street from Woods Hole. Clean with three beds and plenty closet and drawers to settle in.

Adorable Inn with fantastic service and staff
We were exceptionally pleased with our stay at the Captain Tom Lawrence House Inn. Mike was so helpful and courteous even before we arrived. We stayed in the apartment which has adorable decor; it is very comfortable for 4 people--a big bed for two and then twin beds for two others. There was also a full kitchen which was very helpful for us. At the end of our stay we went into the main part of the Inn and it is so beautiful and homey. We had a fabulous home-cooked breakfast and enjoyed sitting near the fire and chatting after eating. We enjoyed everything so much that we will definitely return. The staff is incredibly accommodating and very easy to deal with. The price was also very good. If you plan to be in the area, this is a great place to stay!!

Excellent Choice
We had made last minute plans to stay at the Captain Tom Lawrence House using Orbitz, and was pleasantly surprised. The home is beautifully cared for. The bed super comfortable and clean. Even in the winter, a little snow on the ground the outside was maintained. Fireplace going while eating breakfast wonderful. Delicious coffee, bagels, muffins, fruit and omelettes. I would definitely recommend this B&B. Mike was pleasant and helpful.

Cozy and welcoming
We had the parlor room. A spacious room. Shower is not accommodating for anyone with height, but the bathroom size overall was nice. Stayed off season. Quiet, and had the common room to ourselves for most of the evening to enjoy the fire for a bit before turning in. Accommodations were made for early key pickup. We felt right at home!

Very Friendly
After a strenious trip from Connecticut in the rain and fog it was nice to be greeted by Tom who showed us the dinning area as well as our room. He made suggestions of local dinning facilities in the area and informed us that we should enjoy breakfast in the morning. The facility is classic / vintage and well maintained. A true gem. Highly recommended.

only the convenience to Falmouth justifies a relative high price for modest accommodations. Pleasant and without issues. tiny bathroom but good sized room

Check in was a breeze. We had been traveling for over 15 hours so the easy check in made all the difference! Breakfast was excellent as well.

Nice B&B at a good location
The best thing in this B&B is the creative tasty breakfast. Water bottles are free. The king size bed is very comfortable. However, the shower room is tiny. I felt like I was in Amsterdam or Tokyo. The sink needs little more room to put personal stuff. Otherwise, we spent good time there.

Innkeepers were welcoming and interesting!
Both innkeepers were lovely, and very helpful. They guided me to the walking paths, shared maps, and I enjoyed exploring Falmouth on my afternoon there. The bed was made well, comfortable, and everything was very clean. Not an easy task in an old building! (I like old places...) I had to leave to catch an early ferry, so did not have breakfast. (There could be an accommodation for those of us who need that; not necessarily a cooked breakfast, but something that innkeepers would not need to prepare.)
