This place is not as it used to be. Was going to give 1 star, but gave 3 bc the beautiful lady who works in the office, with the long hair, is still quite friendly/patient +good value. The gentleman was always so kind before, maybe he was only having a bad week. I woke up to him yelling at the guest next to me right outside the door. I needed to be up anyway, but it was kind of a harsh way to wake up; the guest was saying “I’m sorry” & talking softly; perhaps he could have talked to her without yelling right outside the door at 7:15 am. Have stayed here a few times before & let them know: the latest I can check out to make it to work on time is 8am. She reminded me at check-in, that 8am was the earliest I could check out to still get my cash deposit back right then. I said “I’ll check out right at 8 then, since that’s the latest I can leave & make it to work in time.” I wound up canceling a booking online for Tues-Sat at a place closer to work, bc there was a much better deal to just extend my stay thru Fri. Long story short, I didn’t know there would be an extra $30 paid directly to the hotel & doesn’t say online; it took away much of the savings on changing hotels when factoring extra gas, etc. The pool & spa area was not available this time. The man was a little rude when I had to cancel due to the extra fee, Expedia came thru but said he was super difficult ot phone. No one was in the office until 8:11am to check out & I was 5 min late to work
