Entering this cheery cottage, the front door opens into a small porch with a wooden stable door leading into the sweet and cosy lounge. With wooden beams, a Smart TV, comfortable seating and a wood burner, this is a lovely space to snuggle up in the evenings, watch a movie or chat about the day’s events. The country-style kitchen/diner has a hatch opening through to the lounge and makes a great space for cooking and sharing all your favourite family dishes. Heading upstairs, there’s a revitalizing shower room and two pretty bedrooms, each with plenty of storage space: a charming king-size room and a delightful double. Outside, the garden has a patio with outdoor furniture, providing a relaxing spot for breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening, with a few steps leading up onto the lawn.

Fakenham (4.5 miles) has some wonderful shops, pubs and restaurants, and is home to a popular racecourse and Pensthorpe Natural Park. For a day by the sea, head north to Wells-next-the-Sea (11.5 miles) or Blakeney (11 miles) where you can join a boat trip to see the local grey seal colony. Attractions inland include Thursford Wood, Hindringham Hall Gardens, Houghton Hall and ROARR!, all within 15 miles.
