"The hotel is lovely, the rooms are amazing, right on the Chobe River. The food is delicious. But the excursions ended up hurting the experience a bit. The Chobe River is the border between Namibia and Botswana. We arrived via Botswana, and the only way to reach the hotel is by boat. And every time you leave the hotel, you need to take a boat and go through 2 immigration processes (entry and exit of each country), both on arrival and departure from the hotel. "Hadden 1 nacht geboekt met hotels.com maar door wijziging van de plannen wilden we een 2de nacht bijboeken. Echter uitverkocht op Hotels.com dus rechtstreeks contact opgenomen met de accommodatie (nl. Elsie) Zij beloofde ons dezelfde prijs als onze reeds geboekte nacht maar bij aankomst bleek dat we uiteindelijk €100/nacht meer zouden moeten betalen en dat ze van Elsie de prijs niet mochten laten zakken.. echt bedriegerij. Is de enige lodge in de buurt dus er was geen andere...

"Hotel espaçoso, um pouco datado mas com potencial para uma atualização da decoração e dos serviços a oferecer. Pessoal um pouco ausente. Deck muito agradável que apanha tanto a luz do nascer do sol (ao pequeno almoço) como a do pôr do sol, para uma bebida ao fim da tarde. Pequeno almoço a melhorar em qualidade. Quartos espaçosos e confortáveis, mas água com pouca pressão na casa de banho."

"Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser Lodge und können sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft – von unserer Terrasse aus konnten wir die Hippos nicht nur hören, sondern sogar beobachten. Diese Nähe zur Natur hat den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten, stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. "Die Lage der Lodge ist perfekt - direkter Blick auf den Fluss - Wahnsinn - die Zimmer sind an sich sauber, in unserem Zimmer wurde allerdings vorher geraucht und dieser Geruch ist sehr unangenehm, wenn die Fenster zum Abend geschlossen werden. Mitreisende hatten dieses Problem aber nicht - war wohl ein Einzelfall im Bungalow #3"

"Lovely welcome on arrival. Tent was clean, private, comfortable with fabulous views. Staff were attentive, served us with a smile and could not do enough for us. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful and tea with cookies was a nice touch at 4 pm. We had a wonderful game drive with Dusty, who is very knowledgeable, informing us about local customs in the area too. I was unfortunately not well during our stay, however the staff could not be more accommodating and kind to me."

Beautiful, large Cabins, comfortably furnished with the most beautiful views over the amazing Zambezi River that was experiencing higher-than-average water levels this year - which was simply breathtaking. Enjoyed the morning and sundown cruises and the excellent dinner arrangements. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Loved every moment and will certainly be back on my next trip to the mesmerising Caprivi Region."

"Das freundlichste Personal auf unserer Reise, es gab nach dem Abendessen noch traditionelle Musik! Pool mit Ausblick auf Krokos und Warane. Interessanter Game Drive auch wegen der vielen Vögel. Sehr gutes Essen, für den Day Trip in den Chobe wurde uns ein Breakfast Package und ein Transport zur Border bereitgestellt! Die Tische werden nur innen im Restaurant eingedeckt, man kann aber auch draußen essen. Das Personal ist an dieser Stelle etwas landestypisch."
