"The property was covered in ants small and way over priced for what the house was. Not a very cozy place to stay even kinda creepy. The owner wouldn’t even respond back to having trouble with ants. Very dissatisfied. "

"If you need a roof over your head for a few days this is perfect for you. The staff was friendly, the area was quiet. The bedding was clean, the water was hot, and there were no bugs. There is a bit of a funky smell but nothing a bit of fabreeze couldn't tackle."

"We had such a fantastic time at this property. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly (animals included), the land is gorgeous and well maintained, and the spaces were very clean especially considering that this is a farm tucked into the woods. Super easy drive from the state fair grounds. We cannot recommend this enough! "

"My 2 sisters and I are in our early 70’s. After doing the Bridge Walk we wanted to spend the night somewhere unique and that is exactly what the Skoolies are. Very clean, modern and more spacious than you would expect in a school bus. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well supplied, overall very nice. Only downside for us was outdoor spray showers with no enclosure (we washed off in bathroom sink). But would definitely stay again if occasion arises! Big thank you to Omar and Julie! "

"Everything was as pictured! The bus location is closer to the other bus than imagined, but no one was occupying the space. This was a home away from home in a secluded area. It was a nice hilly drive to get to the property. We didnt have starter wood for the fire and within 15 minutes someone came by on 4 wheelers and delivered some! The stay did not disappoint. If I could stay for a month I would. Bring bug repellant! "

"Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing! The fenced in back yard was great for the pup and we enjoyed an evening outside around the patio table chatting, laughing, and catching up.
