The only reason I am giving 4 stars for staff and services is because I made the reservation online through Expedia and when I tried to call the hotel just to confirm everything I could not get through to anybody at the phone rang 12 separate times that I called until it just hung up on me so I will call it would ring about 30 to 40 times and it would just hang up I could not get in touch with any person at all finally I got in touch with someone to let them know that we were running late and they weren’t someone that was actually at the hotel I’m not sure who it was to be honest but they were trying to contact the hotel and I was on hold with them for 30 minutes while they were trying to contact the hotel and nothing happened so it was extremely frustrating to not be able to speak to somebody.

People working the front desk were not knowledgeable or accommodating.We had no Chanel guide and requested one not even close.We are in a renovated room we have a fan in the bath room that doesn’t have a switch to turn it on. They put us next to the room with the hot water heaters and they banged all nite,when we asked for a new room we were told we had to check out take all our luggage with us and check back in at 3. THE NASTIEST PEOPLE. I was exhausted we are here for the funeral of my parents and had a lot to do and just need a nite sleep.

When booking through a third- party agent such as Expedia please read all information about property. Expedia does list that we are undergoing renovations and will experience issues. The staff are super helpful and friendly, including pet friendly. Some of the common area carpets could use upgrading. The room decor is a bit dated but the beds and bedding are all recent and comfy.

Getaway
My stay was for a quick getaway to relax. The hotel was extremely quiet which was great for my purpose, and the breakfast offered every day was very good. Also, the hotel was in close proximity to nail salons, shopping areas and restaurants. However, I found the staff not so friendly. There was only one staff member whom I passed in the hallway who smiled, and we exchanged what I thought was normal morning courtesy of saying good morning. When I tried that with other workers, no eye contact was made and a very low if any response. Even when I checked in, the first receptionist was not welcoming. However, another one came from the back and engaged in conversation with me. My room overall was nice, but after my first night sleeping on the bed, I noticed my back began to ache. My the third night it was worst, and the pillows were extremely soft. As I stated previously, the employees overall were not very cordial so I did not request a room exchange especially with me leaving after the third night. Also, the channels offered are very poor. Surprisingly, there were no sports channels. I was unable to watch the Celtics game. Your guests who enjoy watching HBO channels will be satisfied with the channel choices. This was my first time staying at a Hampton Inn; I'm on the fence as to whether I will try again.

Hi there,First of all, I want to thank you for bringing to my attention the issues you faced during your stay. We here at the Hampton pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, and I am so sorry that you did not experience that while you were staying with us. We never want anyone to leave our doors not feeling welcome and cared for, and I want to offer you a sincere apology for not providing you the service you deserve. As for the poor quality of the mattress and the pillows that you mentioned, we will be getting a full-scale renovation within the next few months that should fix all those issues. While we don't offer a significant number of sports channels, we do have ESPN as well as a few others, and we will possibly be getting more as we will be updating our televisions around the same time as the renovations. I hope you will consider revisiting us after the fact so you can see the changes made!

It had been years since I had stayed at this location, and it was a great stay! Staff were very friendly and informative. Thoughtful to have coffee, fruits and cookies during the day. The convenience of being so close to shopping area was great too! I would stay again!

Disappointed
Disappointed that the guests has to request housekeeping every day of our stay. It is not automatic. Good days are gone. It is sad that the guests have to take of the trash and towels. The room needs to be vacuumed every day for cleanliness/health (COVID is still here). For the price the guests have to pay for hotel room, it is sad to see less than average service.The breakfast was dsappointing, tooo.

Good morning! I do apologize for the insolvencies you encountered with your stay. We are still in COVID times and that is why that policy was put in place most people do not want anyone in their room.
