"Our hunting crew had a great time in Hyde County for 3 days on the back end of a snow storm. To add to the excitement of great hunts, we had an awesome place to stay. The check in process was straightforward and our host was very communicative. I highly recommend the 784 lodge!"

"Great host and a great house!Had a bad storm come through the day before and knock out the power, but the host was quick to reach out and let us know. Power was quickly restored. A lightning strike across the road took out the internet service, but our host also let us know about that as soon as possible. The house was clean, well equipped, and relaxing. We always stay here when we are in the area and look forward to booking again next year!"

"Beautiful secluded property on the water. The place was very clean and well furnished. Out first night there we saw dolphins swimming up the cove, jellyfish, crab, hooked something huge while fishing but lost it. This is the perfect place to stay to get away from the world and relax. "

"For once a brochure did not do a property justice. Had six adults and three small children stay with plenty of room for everyone. The view was beautiful, the dock very nice (about 4 feet of water toward the end), and the house itself just perfect. We will definitely return since the area was peaceful and just what we were looking for. We are going to miss our morning coffee on the back porch! "

"We had everything we needed. The space was just the right size for 3/4 people. The outside was a little cluttered but didn’t bother us. I would offer a couple of recommendations: 1. Having some firewood for the wood stove would be a great addition. 2. A pullout couch would be better than the futon. 3. Need some space to hang hunting gear to help keep things better organized. We truly had a great time and space was great hope to come back next year!"

"If you are looking for a peaceful, clean place to relax near Columbia on the Albemarle Sound. then Bay House is your place. Our family of 4 spent 7 nights there and enjoyed it tremendously! We spent a lot of time at OBX so there is some driving involved but we saw a lot of the area, including seeing 3 bears along the way. We did not have any issues with our stay and Janna even helped us arrange some water sports rental since we were not familiar with area!Thanks Janna and Justin!"
