"Very nice staff, very clean room, nice clean bathroom nice shower over the bath plenty of hot water good water pressure, 2 small bottles of shampoo and body wash and a small bar of soap towels provided. Nice room with desk and chairs the bed was comfortable. Not enough power points to charge your phone/laptop/watch no USB points especially difficult if two people have items to charge at the same time maybe bring an extension lead/plug. "Rooms are in desperate need of complete refurb ! My bathroom looked like it had been overly used since the 70’s, peeling enamel , cracked and just generally dingey bathroom, woodwork peeling , tiles been up since year dot. Also frame around window was worn peeling and had dead flys on sill, there was also a cigarette butt on the floor as i went in, also food spillage that hadn’t been cleaned !! "I don’t usually post negative comments but feel on this occasion it’s require based on the room rate. Our room including bathroom was slightly tired and is in need of a refreshment and lacked your normal toiletries for this level of hotel. The mini fridge compressors was very loud and as such led to both nights of poor sleep, not ideal when you book a weekend away to recover. However, the main building was very beautiful and had a nice lounge to relax in the evening."
