"My family joined me for a wonderful trip to Brightstone. We fell in love. Our hosts were phenomenal and so helpful. Any questions we had were answered quickly and they are very helpful. The house contained everything we needed. The photos of the listing are accurate but photos do not do justice to the setting. The beautiful lake is amazing. The hiking trails were fun for the grandkids and we saw wild turkeys and other critters. We are planning a return trip next summer and cannot wait...

"This charming home is conveniently located just minutes from downtown Francesville, IN. Mel, the owner and property manager, was a joy to work with—her communication was excellent, had a handy little check-out list, and she went above and beyond with thoughtful touches that made me feel truly welcome. "The home was very welcoming, comfortable, clean and accommodating. The place has a homelike atmosphere which was very pleasant and relaxing. The best perk was the washing machine and dryer; it was very helpful to have available! The owner was great to work with as well, and I hope to stay here again!"

"The cabin was so nice. Comfy bed. Had all we needed. Plenty of places to go for a walk. The fishing was great. Host was super nice. Easy and quick to respond to my questions. We recommend this to anyone needing a place in the area and will return and so will other members of our family. Has a nice pavilion area with a grill so if you were considering a family get together it would be great to rent several of the cabins and spend time with each other. "

"We came to Cedar Lake for my son's wedding at his fiancé's family home, and this VRBO was the perfect choice for our stay. We've stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and I think this one has been the best. It's very well-appointed and has everything a family could need. The owners are attentive to detail in their communication. "It was a great stay. The few problems we had were taken care of promptly. Communication was responded to quickly. My only complaint would be that since the home is older, it has a septic tank and well water, which made the water smell like rotten eggs. The owner came and ran the water and most if the smell dissipated. The beds were very comfortable and had a lot of charging ports for phones. I would definitely stay there again."

"We chose this property because of it's location between Indianapolis and Chicago, as half our group was coming from each city. The house and outdoor area met every expectation for our weekend together. Michel was incredibly responsive and asked very little of us as guests. We rarely left the house, but when we did, downtown DeMotte had a great diner (Steve's Grill) and really nice grocery store. Very likely our group will try to make this our annual meet up location."

"I was very pleased with the property. The boys enjoyed having accessibility to the basketball court. Very relaxing environment. Wished we could have stayed longer."

"In town for our granddaughter’s first birthday party. There were several out of towners staying with our daughter and son-in-law for the party, so we booked a space at the Hruby Doobie Ranch. We knew it with be cool from the photos on the VRBO site, but the pictures did not do it justice! The ranch was a wonderful, peaceful, cozy, unique space! We are so grateful to the Hrubys for sharing their space! Would definitely recommend 10/10! "
