It is about 3 km to Fåborg, an attractive old town with a harbor, numerous beautiful buildings, church tower, church as well as a town history museum. The surrounding area offers a variety of sights, such as the Strandlyst flower garden, Egeskov Castle, the round church in Horne and a mausoleum.
