Lovely rural setting

Excellent accommodation in a lovely rural setting. We had a very short stay for a family wedding but it would be good to visit again sometime. Owner was very helpful and we had everything we needed.

Wonderful escape.

We really enjoyed our stay at Elbury Farm. Everything was just as described and it was very clean. It has a well equipped kitchen, with everything you need. There was plenty of storage space for our family of four with a lovely garden overlooking open fields. The property is located at the end of a lane, and it feels very rural but a newly built village just a mile and a half away has a supermarket, chip shop and pharmacy etc. Kathryn, the host, couldn’t have been more helpful with a query we had. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and we will definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

Lovely family Christmas

We used the cottage for a family Christmas and found it very warm and comfortable. The hosts live next door but didn’t worry us at all but nice to know they were there if needed. The kitchen is fairly well equipped and we managed a full Xmas lunch which was amazing. The only thing I’d suggest that would have useful would have been a few more cleaning materials (spray/floor mop/hoover) as with a dog as well it was hard to maintain the lovely high standard we found the property in

Family gathering

Lovely, well appointed cottage with comfy beds which is always a bonus - Kathryn was a great host and we would recommend a stay here to everyone. Beautiful large but dog-secure back garden as well 👍

Great Quiet Spot

Great little farmhouse with very peaceful surroundings. We stayed here as it is close to family, so we were able to get everyone together and enjoy a great afternoon in the large back garden. The house is great and the correspondence before hand was excellent and we had a very easy time. Definitely recommend this as a quiet family get away.

Great property in great location

Excellent property in a great, secluded location. Used as a base for a weekend away for a friends wedding and it was perfect. Good size (bigger than it looks on listing), super clean and no issues at all. Kat is very friendly and helped us out very quickly with anything we needed.

you need a car really. it is possible to walk to bus, about 20 munities away but along a country lane without pavement. we would stay again.

Elbury Farm. Broadclyst

This is a beautiful place to stay if you are confident enough to drive down very narrow lanes with few passing places. A quiet retreat not far into Exeter with its excellent Park-and-ride and motorway. Clean and comfortable. No washer/dryer in the accommodation.

Very Clean and Peaceful Setting

The Cottage is very clean and our host Kathryn responded almost immediately to any queries we may have had. It is as it says a Farm Annexe , so therefore the rustic charm of the interior was in keeping with the surroundings and it was very relaxed and the beds were very comfortable. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of the enclosed garden too! The only thing we would request for future visits would be an airer/line to hang out the swimwear and towels . We woujd definitely visit again.

Beautiful cottage

This was our second stay at Elbury Farm with my daughters and three dogs. We absolutely love it and feel very much at home here. Beautiful, cosy and immaculate cottage. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather and spent a lot of time in the very pretty garden. Communication with the host, Kathryn is excellent! Just can't wait to return again!

Lovely house

We had a really lovely stay at Elbury farm annexe. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Comfortable beds, lovely garden. Well placed for visiting surrounding areas in Devon and Cornwall. Would highly recommend, and would stay again.

Perfect peaceful getaway

The booking was Flawless. The Cottage is roomy warm clean and well-equipped. We had a lovely weekend with nice pubs in the village and lovely walks. Hopefully we can return soon

Brilliant for dogs and their owners!

Beautiful, comfortable and immaculate cottage in a perfect location. The host was really helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed trips to Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton and were lucky enough to have fantastic weather! The cottage was absolutely perfect for our dogs. It has a large secure garden and is surrounded by fields. Our dogs loved their off lead walks in the fields! There is a large utility room where our dogs slept at night and a very convenient door at the bottom of the stairs so our mischievous cocker spaniels couldn’t explore upstairs! We would absolutely love to return.

Perfect stay

We had a wonderful stay, the Annex was perfect. The whole place was spotlessly clean, it was well equipped with everything we needed, the jug of fresh milk in the fridge when we arrived was a lovely touch. Beds were so comfy! The garden was a bonus, so quiet and private. We couldn't have asked for more. We hope to be back!

Me my wife and our 3 children had a short stay here, the place was stunning and full of character. Very clean and tidy and had ever We needed for our stay. Perfect Place to Relax

As soon as we walked through the door we knew we had chosen the right place for us. The rustic style and decor was lovely, especially the vintage automotive paintings and photos. The location is rural and peaceful with a private garden and open countryside all around. Kathryn was a great host and went out of her way to accommodate us! We will be back.
