There are steep stairs to the beautiful room I chose but that was not a concern since the staff took care of my luggage. Nice modern shower, (although it had to run for a long time before it got warm). Hairdryer and iron in room. Tea/coffee making facilities. All good. Very pleasant stay. On checking out reception staff kindly allowed me to leave my overnight bag whilst I explored the City."

"Everything we hoped it would be and more. Friendly, very helpful staff and fantastic food and service which started before we arrived. The views across the Exe are stunning and the extensive grounds beautifully kept. We plan to come back next summer so we can use the beautiful pool and croquet lawn. Loved the chilled out vibe in the Poolside restaurant. "
