"I have stayed multiple times and enjoyed the cozy, clean condo each time. There are plenty of places to stay on the lake but Striper's is different to me and the cove is very peaceful and quiet. Nature is wrapped all around you and the owners to this particular condo are the very best I have ever worked with. I would not even expect anyone to be quite as kind and continously available but they are. Whenever I am at the lake with just one other person,I always choose this condo first if...

"We loved the cozy living room and amazing screen porch. There was plenty of space for our two young kids, us, and my sister! There was a huge and super comfy sectional sofa and a great fireplace that we made an awesome fire in with the firewood that the hosts left for us. We had a great time hanging out in the house since it rained most of the weekend and was pretty cold. When it did clear up a little, the view from the dock was gorgeous! Had we not had two small children and our dog running...

"This is most likely due to the wildlife sanctuary the property is located on, but the ticks were insane! You need to be aware of this and check your dogs and yourselves frequently. I hope the neighborhood is able to do something about this issue. I am not someone who ever complains but it warrants a less than perfect review. The only reason I did not give 5 stars for everything. Otherwise, I highly recommend staying here."

"This was a last minute booking. One snafu with Vacasa with them not being able to verify my ID via DL but with a quick phone call that was corrected. The home itself is nice and has plenty of space and amenities. The decibel reader is a little off-putting but I understand with VA laws being the way they are. Overall, it was a nice stay."
