"We made last minute changes to our July off-road plans. This meant finding a new spot over a holiday weekend that allowed dogs ASAP. BJ quickly responded to my Facebook post about the opening and was very welcoming! We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend in Evarts! We loved the location to the trails! Excited to come back for Fall Crawl with our group! "

"The property is great. Very well kept both inside and out.The rear porch by the bubbling brook is very enjoyable. The view from the front porch is great as well. Plenty of clean towels and wash clothes. Only 2 minor items to mention. The water in the shower is poor and the front door gets stuck on the uneven floor. These items did not affect our stay. We would recommend this property to anyone. "

"What a lovely place to stay in the mountains of southwest Virginia. We visit BSG nearly every year for a family reunion. The only decent hotel in town has seen better days and we wanted something more comfortable. This trip was my 84 year old Dad and me. He LOVED it and so did I!!!The owners took care to think of everything when renovating this house. From being able to make our fresh coffee from the provided supplies to the fabulous shower I wish I had at home — everything was perfect! We look...

"Nice place great for rzr riding "

"The stay was better than I imagined it would be. Beautiful country view with green meadows and cows. So much history in this house. So many things in the house reminded me of my mother. Very quiet, comfortable and clean. It is the best place we have stayed. The communication with Nell was better than great. He stayed up late to help us find our way. We arrived in the dark and Nell was ready for us with the lights on so we could safely enter the house. I can’t wait to return and book this country...

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The location is good and the owner is great. Kim is very responsive. We had an issue with the temperature in the place and Kim addressed it quickly and attentively; and it was resolved. Even my dog was comfortable staying there. He usually barks when we leave him alone (crated), but he didn't while there. "

"What a wonderful property! We loved the privacy of our site and the outdoor area was so fun and relaxing for my partner and I! The hot tub was a hit for him and provided much pain relief and I loved having the ability to cook on the griddle/grill combo! We met Wes on our way out and had a wonderful talk about the area and local culture- he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We both hope to be back for another visit soon! "

"I was very pleased with the hospitality, having a wash room to use, and great kitchen, too. Could relax a little watching streaming channels, too."

"Such a cute property nestled in the mountains. The host went above and beyond with addressing any concerns we had during our stay. The property is well maintained with everything you need to disconnect for a few days with an amazing view if you're willing to take a small hike up the mountain. We loved exploring the small-town life as there was such a nice sense of community. Would highly reccommend if you are looking for a nice spot to disconnect. "

"Well maintained and beautifully perfect property and cabin. Private and quiet. My heart was sad when my stay was over. I will definitely be a return guest. Honest hosts. "

"What a lovely place. Everything we needed and then some. Would stay here again. So relaxing. The view, ping pong, & super happy to discover puzzles for us to do on the rainy day!(Only issue we had was it was wasp season & they kept getting in. Glad they were slow ones!)"

"Get cabin and custom service. It was perfect for our group and right next to the trails which was very convenient. Will definitely stay again."

"Had the most peaceful relaxing stay in the mountains. If you can, open the windows and listen to the creek and sleep well."

"We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. Close enough to Pennington Gap for groceries and restaurants. "
