Hughes Hideaway Eurobin offers secluded accommodation in close proximity to the Ovens River, Rail Trail and picturesque town of Bright.

Situated on 15 acres adjoining Mount Buffalo National Park, Hughes Hideaway is an outbuilding to the family home and offers privacy and seclusion in a farmland setting.

You will be within 15 minutes of the tourist towns of Bright, Porepunkah and Myrtleford. Easy day trips to Mount Buffalo National Park and the ski-fields of Mount Hotham and Falls Creek.

The space:
Hughes Hideaway Eurobin is a clean and tidy 2-bedroom fully self-contained unit with glorious views of the Ovens Valley.

Each bedroom of the unit contains a Queen bed, making it perfect for couples or small family. The main bedroom contains ample robe space for an extended comfortable stay. The second bedroom has a queen bed and single bed.

The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, fridge and microwave. The living area includes coach, chairs and television with a split system heating/cooling in the living area. Wifi is provided to maintain your social connections.

The bathroom is modern and spacious providing comfort to refresh after a day of skiing, MTB riding around Bright or hiking the trails at Mount Buffalo.

A private under-cover outdoor area is provided with BBQ if you feel like a night in. Otherwise, the amazing array of restaurants will delight.

A washing machine is provided with clothes line.

Guest access:
There is ample car accommodation with a carport to keep your car and bikes out of the weather.

The Rail Trail is less than a kilometre away and a swimming hole in the Ovens River is within 100m.

You will be within 15 minutes of the tourist towns of Bright, Porepunkah and Myrtleford. Easy day trips to Mount Buffalo National Park and the ski-fields of Mount Hotham and Falls Creek.

The Red Stag Deer Farm and licensed restaurant is within walking distance.

Other things to note:
Mobile phone reception is good. Hughes Hideaway is on a family property and although the unit itself is quiet and peaceful, the families children may be playing in the paddocks.

Beautiful area to spend time

We had a wonderful time in the Bright area. The property is away from the hustle and bustle of Bright in a quiet area (we were there over busy NY period). Lovely secluded swimming hole nearby. Communication with host was great and he attended to small issues quickly and efficiently. Images of property online were accurate.

Gorgeous hideaway

This is one of the loveliest small homes that we have stayed in to date in the Bright area. It is 10mins drive to either Myrtleford or Bright and being off the Great Alpine road, so lovely and quiet. The house is situated on a property with the owner's home but you'd never know they were there because of the well established gardens- you are made to feel like the only ones around. The 2 bedroomed home had absolutely everything we needed and was more than enough room for 4 people. It included a lovely outdoor area where we sat most of the time when at the accommodation. It was a nice space for our 2 senior (18+) cats to stay with us and lounge around the windows. Our cats only came outside with us to sit in the garden but if taking dogs- the yard would probably not be secure to enable them to roam. There were plenty of eateries nearby, including the Red Deer Stag and Emu Farm that was literally 2 minutes drive further down the road from the accommodation. Communication with Ty was great- nothing I'm sure would be too much trouble! Would definitely stay again! Thanks Ty and family for a brilliant stay!

Perfect location for young family

Great spot to explore the area. Our young family enjoyed the country experience. Feeding the chickens (and neighbours goats) was a highlight. House was neat and well sized for the 4 of us. Nice private shady garden with great views. Ty was also very helpful when needed. Hope to stay again

Weekend away

Had a lovely weekend away at Hughes Hideaway. Was a short 10 minute drive to bright which was perfect for us. Beds were clean, comfy and warm, communication and check in extremely easy. Area very quiet. Hughes Hideaway was clean, though lots of cobwebs and bugs especially in the bathroom and along windows seals, including mould on the bathroom ceiling. Gas bbq was disgusting and has not been cleaned in a long time. Outdoor area not very inviting, needs a good clean.

Hughes Hideaway Eurobin.

The 2 bedder house is located on rural property 50m from the owners home, with flat surrounding grounds and large leafy trees. The house was very clean and had all the amenities needed to have a relaxing time. Would highly recommend Hughes Hideaway to any one looking for a peaceful holiday. Graham.

Relaxing stay in the High Country

We had a wonderful Easter break at Ty’s place. It was the perfect base to explore the area. Ty sent a list of recommendations to us beforehand which were so helpful. Highlights include the Ringer Reef winery and Stag Deer and Emu farm just down the road. Bright town is a short, easy drive away aswell as Mount Buffalo for amazing sunset views. Definitely recommend!

This is a good place to stay if you have a car and want to base yourself around Eurobin /Mountain Yuzu / wineries and Myrtleford and Bright. If it is competitive on price then it will win on space, comfort and utility.

Tranquil Stay

This property had the atmosphere and everything needed to stay for any period. The host was absolutely fantastic and communicated with you when needed. The property location was great and quiet, children had a ball feeding the chickens our compostable items in the mornings. I could not recommend more highly the host and their property.

Weekend Relaxation

Had the best time in the area. The house is so cute and absolutely ideal for the 4 of us. Only 15mins from Bright so we enjoyed day trips and then coming back to the quiet life. Loved it!

Hidden treasure!!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Hughes Hideaway! The property was clean and cosy. Kitchen was handy for quick morning brekkie. Beds were cozy and comfortable for a good night rest after a longb day of sightseeing. Wifi was fast and kept my teens busy once we were home. It's about 12ks from Bright, easy access to Happy Valley pub :) and lots of attractions in Bright. Ty is great with communication, quick to respond to any queries. Thanks Ty for the wonderful hospitality. We will surely recommend this place and would love to visit again 😊 Josh & Halle
