The screened front porch steps out onto Redbud Park, a grassy spot with tall shade trees, hammocks, and some classic playground toys. On the porch, a swing and dining table offer the perfect place to relax and watch the kids on the park. Two ceiling fans and strings of twinkle lights add to the comfort and charm of the porch.

Just inside the front door is the living room with plenty of seating and an office with a sliding barn door for privacy. The kitchen and dining area are open to the living room, so the whole group can be together. The farmhouse style kitchen has a large island with barstool seating for 4. Floating shelves, granite counterops, and a substantial built in butcher’s block add to the style and functionality of the space. There are plenty of dishes and cookware. There is a gas range and oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, a full size refrigerator/freezer and an additional beverage fridge. Guests love the available storage closets throughout the downstairs level, where pantry items and lake gear can be stored. This level also has a powder bathroom with a fun striped wallpaper, a mudroom style entryway with cubbies, hooks and bench, and a laundryroom with a full size washer/dryer and a hanging rack for those wet swimsuits!

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a sleeping loft. The windows are dressed with shades and drapes for maximum privacy and rest. The first bedroom is a suite with a king size bed, smart tv, and additional furnishings with plenty of space to store belongings. The ensuite bathroom has a tiled floor and shower with a glass door and a separate toilet room. A granite countertop stretches across the entire wall with double vanity mirrors and windows for natural light. This primary suite steps out onto a private screened balcony with cushioned furniture, ceiling fans and twinkle lights. It’s nicely secluded, looking directly over the wooded Redbud Park.

The second bedroom has a king bed, a television, and all the furnishings needed for total comfort. The third bedroom is a girl’s delight with pink wooden bunk beds and pink curtains. The bunks have XL Twin mattresses, making this room suitable for kids or adults. The bedrooms have empty dressers and closets with hangers and extra linens.

Off the second floor landing, there’s a wooden ladder that leads to the sleeping loft with 3 XL Twin beds. Arguably the best view in the house, the loft window has a view of the sun rising over Carlton Landing rooftops and Lake Eufaula in the distance. The ceiling is vaulted, so even adults can stand up straight in the loft. A ceiling fan, can lighting and television make this space more comfortable than the typical 3rd level perch.

The newly available Garage Apartment offers some privacy and has its own living room, full kitchen with a washer & dryer, a full bath, and a queen bed.

Carlton Landing is a walkable community. There is parking behind the house for 2 vehicles and overflow parking is available along Park Street. There are also a few golf cart rental options in Carlton Landing that offer free delivery and pick-up.
