"Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat."

And the picnic area has only one table with bench, nothing more. I would expect couple of them and some kind of grill or fire pit, but nothing there. Other than that: great"

"We checked out of room. Left and realized my handicapped daughter had for her shoes,swimsuit and goggles in bathroom. Returned within half hour. Went to front desk and she stated she didn’t show we stayed there. Finally found it and gave me room key. Went to room to find door opened and found large garbage bag on floor full of garbage and I could see are stuff in garbage bag. Had to dig it all out of garbage. Asked if this was there policy to throw away customers items that they forget. She...

"We understand that some places are outdated and a little run down from time and use but this was beyond that. The room was not cleaned throughly, there was a phone but it did not work. the cord for the hair drier hanging on the wall was caked in dust from never being wiped off. The light switches also caked with gunk, a puddle of pee on the base of the toilet and some gunk that came out of the jets when we turned on the jacuzzi. The Landry room has a huge hole in the ceiling, towels on the floor...

"Our stay ok.. there was no breakfast.. The pool area is very poorly maintained.There was stuff torn apart, stuffed kids could hurt themselves on it really needs to be maintenance. The rooms were very dusty and sheets were dirty. The balcony really needs to be washed and swept down there were cobwebs spiders and bird poop.. for the $ we paid i was expecting better"
