"We booked a last minute weekend stay here after our original flight was cancelled. The staff was beyond friendly and the location was wonderful.. about 2 blocks from the French Market, close enough to the action but not so close that you were up all night. We got to watch a couple parades go by (wedding, protest, and a just because parade lol) the courtyard and pool area are very cute. "The only thing we didn't like was waiting over 20 minutes to check in. It was around midnight and we were tired and two other customers were ahead of us. It seemed to take the attendant a long time to check in the first person in line. Other than the initial wait, everything was great."

"I had read several mixed reviews so I was unsure what to expect. The gal at the front desk was very helpful and kind. Check-in and out was smooth and easy. My room was clean. In order to have a balcony that looks out over the pool, you'll need to request that. My balcony looked over the back of the property towards Target and it wasn't anything to write home about. "Take long to clean rooms, and front desk not very active helping solve problems. I’ve had a problem with hotels.com (the pictures show a room with bathtub but there is no bathtub - only 2 rooms at the hotel) and the front desk adopted a posture “not our problem” and was very frustrating knowing is a expesive hotel and you want to have the best experience - it was my birthday and I am pregnant so I was VERY disapointed."
