Welcome to Alpaca Mountain Getaway 2! Built on ground that was once home to Colorado`s first alpaca farm now sits this beautiful mountain townhome retreat waiting to host responsible, mountain loving couples, families and small groups.
★ LOCATION ★ The townhome`s prime but peaceful location on the west side of Estes Park is just 2.5 miles from the Beaver Meadows entrance of RMNP and only 2 miles to downtown! The townhome sits just off a main paved road and is reached via a short, flat gravel driveway, making access in winter very easy.
★ INDOOR LIVING ★ The home`s welcoming interior is open and bright and features a mix of quality mountain rustic and modern appointments. A wall of windows highlights the living area allowing an abundance of natural light to flood the space. A gas fireplace adds warmth and ambiance after the sun sets.
The warmth of the home carries through to the bedrooms. The main floor master features a king bed and en suite bath. Two additional bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the second with a queen bed and twin sized bunk beds—are found on the second level along with a large full bathroom. Young children will enjoy time playing in a secret playroom accessed from the upper level second bedroom.
★ KITCHEN ★ Quality full-sized stainless steel appliances and fixtures highlight the well-stocked, modern kitchen. For dining in, a picnic style dining table shares space in the open concept kitchen and living area. In warmer months, step out of the kitchen onto the rear patio and enjoy grilling and mountain air dining.
★ PARKING ★ Free parking in front of the townhome for up to three vehicles is provided.
★ ADDITIONAL ★ Additional townhome amenities include WiFi, gas grill and a washer/dryer. The garage is currently unavailable for guest use. Undeveloped land immediately adjacent to the property offers the opportunity to view grazing elk and other wildlife. Mountain views are enjoyed from the property and extend into RMNP to the west.
** PLEASE NOTE: Per code, we are unable to make exceptions to the maximum number of guests: 8, or the number of and size of pets: 1 dog 35 pounds max. **

The garage is used for owner storage.
While we won`t have the chance to meet you in person, fear not! The Wolf Rentals has an incredible team ready to assist you with your reservation. These folks are top-notch, a bunch of seasoned locals who know every nook and cranny of Estes like it`s their own backyard.
The street the townhome is on is too new to show up on most maps. The townhome location on the map in this listing is very close to the actual location. The area surrounding the townhome is a quiet residential area containing a mix of full-time residents and vacation rentals.
Driveway & off-street parking for three vehicles is provided.
NO SMOKING, NO FIRES
My home was about a mile away from one of the largest forest fires in Colorado history a few years ago, so we are a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park`s vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned; gas ones like ours are allowed.
ROAD CONDITIONS
Estes has a great plow team and our driveway will also be plowed during storms, but if there`s a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!

Insurance forbids nonpaying/non-registered guests on the property.
AIR CONDITIONER
Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C. Thankfully mountain air blows down from the high peaks and will cool down the place quickly in the evenings if you open the windows and turn on the fans.
BEARS
Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area often and can break in!
MINUT We use a Minut noise meter. It doesn`t record audio, but instead monitors decibel levels, temperature and humidity. This is for the safety of guests & to protect the home. It also serves to warn us about parties & prevent noise complaints from neighbors. It`s located on the ceiling of the hallway leading into the living room.

The house was just the perfect size. Everything was clean on arrival and felt warm and welcoming. The host was responsive during our stay. We would definitely book it again.

Great Estes Park getaway!
We had a great time staying at the house. Everything was clean and there was plenty of room for everyone. Such an easy location for access to the park too! Communication, check in, and check out were smooth and straightforward.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway!
My family loved our stay in this townhome. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We used the kitchen a lot which had all of the basics you would need to cook a typical meal. The view was spectacular. We had lots of wildlife visitors including elk and deer almost daily. We would stay here again!

Beautiful Home in a Great Location
This is a great rental. We stayed with our 92 year old mom and a friend. It was so nice that she didn't have to climb stairs to get to into the unit or her bedroom plus she had her own bathroom. It's a very nice place...close to town and the mountains. We had a little issue when we first arrived. The unit hadn't yet been cleaned but the property manager quickly rectified the situation and sent a cleaning crew right away.

Loved the Location on the west side of Estes Park minutes from the beaver meadows entrance ( bypassing town traffic). Clean, new, well appointed for any needs that can be anticipated. Netflix / Disney on TV. Well stocked for kids needs ( of all ages) such as board games, binoculars, high chair, playpen, cute play room full of toys.
Well stocked kitchen, grill on patio. Thoughtful and responsive host. beer glasses in freezer! Comfortable beds.

Wonderful Thanksgiving!!
For many years we've come to Estes Park for Thanksgiving - always arriving on Wednesday evening and heading home to Cheyenne on Saturday. It's always been my wife and I together with our 2 daughters. This year my daughters brought their respective companions - so we needed a bigger place. This unit could not have been more perfect for us! Beautiful views out of the back windows. Wonderful cozy fireplace. Nice sized and well-equipped kitchen for preparing our Thanksgiving meal. Perfect floorplan with the primary bedroom on the main floor for my wife and I, and 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs for our daughters and company - allowing for private space for all! We always end up having to run to a grocery for forgotten items or food and it was just 2 minutes away. Friday evening we typically hit a restaurant for dinner while all the crowds are at the Christmas Parade - and we found a few restaurants within 2-3 minutes of the unit! Our guests were thrilled to see deer and elk within steps of the front and back doors to the condo, as they were not accustomed to the abundance of wildlife in the area. Will always have fond memories of this special Thanksgiving and will be sure to recommend this place! Thank you for everything!
