"We loved our country get away. Upon our arrival Norm gave us a tour and suggestions of area restaurants. We awoke each morning enjoying breakfast while looking over the river. Ended the day with campfires, star gazing and the peace and tranquillity of the country. On our last night we also met Sue and she to joined us in conversations of the history of their family and Vrbo. Thanks for hosting and sharing with us-will definitely return.Lynn, Donny and Amy"

"What a beautiful home and setting! A spacious 4 bedroom home sitting above the beautiful Chippewa river! Comfortable beds, a well equiped kitchen and a very nice outdoor space that included a fire ring! Angie was a wonderful host and maintained contact from the moment I booked with her! We visited wineries, parks, a mansion, waterfalls and other sites within a short drive of the house! I would highly recommend the Codax Retreat for a very nice get-a-way!"

"What a perfect 4 nights at the Olive Oasis - it IS an Oasis! The views of the lake from the living room and bedroom were spectactular - if only we had a boat for sunset cruising! All the kitchen accomodations were top notched and thankfully the TV channels were as promised. Watched three Cubs payoff games while we were there. "The landscaping, outdoor spaces, and location on the river are exquisite. The kitchen is well equipped with anything needed to cook a simple meal or a holiday dinner. The home is tastefully furnished and comfortable. My favorite room is the sunroom from which I enjoyed views of the garden, river and sunsets. Communication with the owners was easy. It is clear they care about the property and want their renters to have an enjoyable experience. "

"Stayed with my parents, siblings and their families. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. Kitchen was stocked with very nice pots, pans, and food storage. Having two fridges was great! The lofted space with the bonus room with beds was awesome for the kids to have their own hangout space. Access to the water was perfect and so close the beach and park worked out so well! We would definitely book again!!"
