"Beautiful hotel with amazing views and a great atmosphere. The property is well maintained and the staff was wonderful. My only concern was the large number of iguanas and the amount of iguana droppings around the grounds. Addressing this issue would make the experience much better. Overall, a lovely stay. The villa was perfect for big family . Have everything and the laundry perfect."

"There were many problems here. Plywood laying on my balcony. Dirt on walls. Every door is rotted at the bottom and they have dirt all around the door handles. "Our stay at The Captain and the Mermaid was great. Communication with Michael was the best I’ve ever had. He was prompt and very helpful each time. The condo had beautiful views from the windows. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. So nice to have beach towels and beach chairs. A pool right near us. If you don’t have a car you need to not mind hiking up and down to get to beach. Restaurants near condo were all great. "

"It rained the day we arrived and when we got there, the whole kitchen and living room were flooded and the rug was soaked for the whole 7 day trip so the whole house stunk of mildew the entire trip.
