"Very nice place. Great opportunities for walking and hiking around the property. Our room however was pretty dirty. There was an empty bottle under our bed and a piece of chicken skin left on one of the nightstands. And the AC didn’t work well at all"

"The cabin and property was magical!The description of the property gave us the impression that you could walk on a trail from the property to Dog Head Falls, which was not the case. It is less than a 10 minute drive, and totally worth it, but we were a little disappointed we could not walk there from the property. "

"We had a lovely stay at the goldilocks cabin. It was exactly as described and the pictures were accurate. The location is close to everything in Stowe and Waterbury. "Perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. Very close proximity to the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail made this property extra attractive to me. Close to Jeffersonville for any immediate needs. Beautiful, quiet property, cozy cabin, and a wonderful host. Dianne was quick to respond to my questions, and went above and beyond to help make my time extra comfortable. "Very clean, comfortable room spaces and comfortable beds. Plenty of amenities. Perfect kitchen with all you might need for preparing meals. Good location for surrounding day trips. Definitely highly recommend. Accommodating and prompt communications. Beautiful, meticulously maintained home."

"I drove up to the Burlington area (from Frederick MD) for a 3-day reunion of a group of us who had served as Peace Corps Volunteers or staff 30 years ago in Morocco from 1991-1993. Staying in your lake front cabin was wonderful. Very relaxing mornings. Also thank you for being pet friendly - that was a criteria for me. My 4-month old puppy loved all the yards, and the freedom (under my supervision) of your lovel space. Thank you - this house right on the water was more than I had...

"Lake breezes and unbeatable views! Comfortable, beachy, well equipped cabin right on the lake--great family (and Pet) get away! Not far from Plattsburgh, Ausable Chasm, and a Ferry ride to Burlington. The only thing that may be an issue for some is the stairs to and from the cabin! Not for the faint of heart! "Hotel agradável e bem localizado mas as instalações deixam a desejar. Reservamos um quarto para 4 pessoas e o sofá cama oferecido era extremamente desconfortável. Era velho..as molas incomodavam pois a parte de espuma era muito fina. Falta também uma mesa mesmo que pequena para refeições rápidas. O café da manhã era muito fraco se é que dava pra dizer que tinha. Optamos por comprar as coisas no mercado e tomar no quarto mesmo. Foi aí que sentimos falta de um espaço mesmo que pequeno para comer. "

" We payed a small fortune to stay 2 days in this hotel in November. The check in is at 4pm and the check out is at 11am. There were no breakfast included. There is a 35$ fee per day for valet parking. Otherwise you have to self-park in a place very far away from your room. For me it was like 10 minutes walking. The structure of the resort is huge. But the only difference for us in that matter was that we had to walk like half a mile to arrive at our room, because everything was closed during the off season. We were aware that it was off season. But still there was absolutely nothing to do in the hotel. No activities whatsoever were offered by the resort included in the almost 400 dollar price you pay per night. It was my birthday during our stay. I told the attendant the moment we checked in hoping to get something special but nothing was arranged. There is a 45$ dollar fee per day for the amenities and activities supposedly offered by the hotel. When checking out we told the attendant we thought we shouldn’t pay this fee while we weren’t able to enjoy the resort facilities at all. She told us this fee was charged for the the availability of the pool, the gym and for complimentary coffee, among other things that were out of order. So we still had to pay this extra 95$ with taxes for absolutely nothing. It was probably the most frustrating situation I ever passed regarding a hotel. Especially considering the very expensive price we payed. "
