"The food was fantastic. Zagmo and the kitchen staff turned out excellent food. The India food was much better than any Indian Restaurant we know on Vancouver Island, and the kitchen staff was able to make excellent Western style breakfasts when we wanted them. All of the staff were great, from the front desk to the porters. Even if I were to stay in a less expensive hotel in Hunder, I would definitely come to this hotel just for the meals!"

"Wonderful location! Peaceful and quiet while still within walking distance to town. The manager, Mr. Anthony, was always welcoming and willing to assist, give advice, or just have a friendly chat. The rooms were clean and very high standard - overall recommended."

"I went to Leh towards end of January for a peaceful retreat, the staff of this hotel made my experience amazing. They helped me plan the perfect itinerary and arranged for transportation. The amenities of the hotel made my stay comfortable. The location is convenient (2 mins walk to the main market). I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are planning a trip to Leh."

"The resort is a perfect getaway for city dwellers. The resort nestles amidst the majestic middle Himalayas in the village of Saboo. The location is about 10km (15 minutes drive on a normal day) from the Kushok Bakula Rinpoche airport The cottages are well appointed, with lovely views from the verandah. There is a quaint little bridge with a water stream underneath too. The staff is very friendly and go out of the way to be helpful to guests. We needed our breakfast ready 30 minutes before time...

"Amazing Hosts. Wonderful place. We loved our visit and will have a long memory of Laddakh in our lives because of great hotel staff. Don't forget to ask for Dorjee driver for your taxi travel. One of the best driver I have every driven with (and you will need it because of rough terrain). I could trust him with my family in car on treacherous Himalayan roads and a whole bunch of aggressive drivers around."

"Absolutely beautiful cabin set in the middle of an apricot orchard with wood burning stoves in each room and heaters in the beds. The service was fantastic and the food was great. We're going back. "

"Our room was large and very comfortably furnished, with a large attached bath. Hot water was available whenever electricity was available. Any visitors to Nubra Valley should be aware that electricity services can be erratic in the valley, but we found it was better in Turtuk than in Diskit."
