"We stayed here for 2 nights as my son was doing the Pennine Barrier Ultra Marathon, so it was quite handy for that, but it was a lovely surprise to arrive there and feel really comfortable and at home, it has everything you need (except a hairdryer). I would like to return for a longer stay sometime in the future and would highly reccommend to anyone ."

"The room was lovely and clean and comfortable, we arrived and got a parking spot next to the hotel. Communication is excellent. Lighting on arrival so we could put the code into the building was fantastic. We were in the first room. It was modern with a lovely big bed, with a walk-in shower which is ideal for me as I struggle with mobility. "The property is very clean, tidy and nicely decorated. The facilities are excellent. We would have liked more shelving in the bathroom for our toiletries and we thought the shower mat looked a bit grimy.The outdoor space was useful for our grandson to run around in. We thought there could have been more toilet rolls. We would definitey return here in the future when we visit our family in Halifax!"

"I recently stayed at your hotel and feel compelled to express my extreme disappointment with my experience. I regret my choice. I trusted reviews, and both my husband and I ended up having a terrible, sleepless night. The room was dark to the point that it was almost impossible to choose what to wear unless we brought our suitcase into the bathroom. The room was cold, and the heating was poor. The bedding was of very poor quality, uncomfortable against the skin, and insufficient. The duvet was a summer one, entirely inadequate for the cold winter temperatures in West Yorkshire. The pillow was unhygienic, and I did not dare to use it. The breakfast was very poor, to the point that I do not see the point in offering it. The service was also extremely disappointing. I do not blame the staff, who were clearly under-resourced, as the same person had to handle reception duties, assist with breakfast service, clean tables, and more. Overall, this was a very unpleasant stay. I will not be returning and cannot recommend your hotel."
