"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Teach Titanic cottage. It was thoughtfully renovated keeping some of the original elements of the old historic cottage yet thoroughly modernizing it. "Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. "

"The property provided us with everything we needed. While there may have been small things that would have improved our stay further we were perfectly comfortable and the location was wonderful, whatever the weather. "Excellent home for 3 generation family ages 8 to 80. Plenty of room for the kids inside and out and separate from the adults. Beautiful Clew Bay views from the house, quiet peaceful walks by the sea in the mornings and evenings, and good surfing beaches nearby. Conor & Carol were immediately responsive to all questions and requests. Highly recommend this home for anyone. "

"A quaint, older home that is great for groups and children. The home was very cleanly. It’s close to the city center. You could walk to town in approximately 25-30 minutes; however, it’s quite hilly and there aren’t walking paths initially. Friendly and fast communication with the host. Had all the amenities we needed. Would stay again!"
