Unique Dome House Located in an Airpark! Corner Lot with a beautiful view of the mountains and the runway !! Itā€™s a great cozy feel with super comfy couches in the main living room area (my favorite place) and a fun place to stay.
You can enjoy the jukebox with the records /blue tooth or CDā€™s that are there- you will often see hot air balloons as well.

You will enjoy the King size bed in the Master with a full size bathroom - Queen size bed and a full size bed in 3rd room

Fun board games to play
Regular size 80ā€™s Galaga game plus PacMan and many others. No quarters required!

There is WiFi / Netflix/ Hulu/ full cable


Great place for an event/ bridal/Baby shower/Birthday or any event you so choose. Plenty of parking on the 2 1/2 plus acres the ThunderDome is on. With Host permission for any event.

Great location for our needs

Celebrating grandsonā€™s birthday along with holiday festivities with relatives, it worked great. This being only the 2nd time with VRBO, we were looking for final clean up instructions but could not find any, so we did our best and hope all are happy. The place was a good value and stocked well.

The Atari machine was a hit with the family, we also had the treat of seeing some WWII era planes take off from the small airstrip behind the house. A very unique VRBO experience that you will enjoy and not soon forget

Our stay was great. The house was clean, casual, and comfortable. The neighborhood was safe, quiet and private. Host was prompt and effective with communication throughout the process from reservation to check in. Pictures matched reality. All good.

Cozy little place in quiet neighborhood

This unique house is in a quaint neighborhood. It is a aviation neighborhood, so has a few planes going in and out which the kids enjoyed watching. House was about 20 minutes from Louisville and 17 from Boulder reservoir. It was nice to be in an area away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities.

Fun home with beautiful views. Centrally located for hiking, shopping, and food. Comfortable sleeping (talk to the owner for mobility issues) and fully stocked linens and kitchen. Very clean. We loved the game table and large screen TV. Thank you for a great home away from home!

Our family loved our stay at the ThunderDome. If you are looking for a quiet place with plenty of space and a nice view, this is it! Such a unique home that is clean, inviting and cozy. The location is perfect if you want to get away from the city but still in close proximity to many enough that itā€™s a short drive away from many attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

At Home in the Dome

What a fantastic idea. Our family picked this geodesic dome for our weekend family vacation because of the fun and unique design of the space. The backyard airfield is also a fun idea and our boys just thought that was cool. Hereā€™s what we loved this location and why I highly recommend choosing this vacation rental for your next trip. Communication with the property owner was prompt and informative. The house is on an acre (looked like to me), super easy to find, and reasonably close to all the Denver attractions. Granted, itā€™s an older house, but everything was very nice. I especially loved the tall vaulted ceiling. Also, the two bedrooms upstairs were not heard from downstairs in the master bedroom, so some acoustical dampening must have been installed (nice!) We also loved the outdoor patio and fire table which made one morning special. The Pac-Man game and jute box also were a bit hit. I also felt that the rental was reasonably priced. Iā€™m sure I could find something to complain about, but life is all perspective. For all of the above, I give it 5 stars and our family will definitely be coming back!

Quaint and Comfortable

The host was very kind and kept communication open regarding some maintenance to be done to the property at the very beginning of our stay, cant help the weather. The Thunderdome itself was very comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood where houses were very well spaced apart and each charming in their own way. This is in stark contrast to the bulk of the housing developments we saw in and around the area, large homes, tiny yards, and tightly packed together. If you're looking for something quaint, quiet, and relaxed, this is the spot for you. If we come back next year for the Shaw Classic we'll most likely stay here again.

Exceeded Our Expectations

Excellent experience. This was our 1st time renting a home instead of a hotel stay. It was more than we could have imagined. Everything was very clean, plenty of room to sleep 8 people of various ages even. Everything was well stocked and accomodating. Quiet area and great location. We did day trips every day and the location was a great asset. Needless to say, our experience has spoiled us on renting homes instead of settling for a hotel. We highly recommend this home to anyone traveling.

had excellent communication with the owners! When we walked in it smelled so good and was spotless! 5 yr old grandson loved the jukebox and the Pacman machine! It was quiet and so peaceful! Also got to see hot air balloons and 1 airplane! coyotes were howling last night, some might not like that but I loved it, they were aways out. If we ever need a place again this will be our go to place!! Thankyou so much
