Where to start. This valley was a réal surprise. It was fabulous. Shantal's house was gréât. It was much better than the description. We were two couples with a one-yeah old child. The house was very well maintained - it was brand new! We would certainly recommend it to anyone.
As to activities, obviously the wine tastings were the star attractions. There are 150 pineraies in the valley and we were only able to visit six. But, they were all worthwhile. In fact all the wineries we visited had small resto-catering units producing delicious food to munch on while we tried the wines (tacos, tostados, etc). We were particularly impressed with 2 restaurants Finca Altozano and Deckman's (they had a 5 course gourmet dinner that couldn't be beaten in any U.S. or Canadian restaurant).
We had a gréât time.
