"My recent stay at this location was very satisfying. The gentleman attendee in reception was friendly. The room was spacious, clean, cool and the beds were very comfortable. The weather did not permit us fo enjoy the lake which is walking distance from the hotel. But all in all I had an enjoyable time at Canyon Lake. I would love to go back to enjoy the lake."

"Really cool property. Something different, for sure. The cabin was very comfortable and there were some unexpected and fun amenities on the property. It is DARK out there, so we really enjoyed seeing the stars at night. Quiet, safe - and had a nice cool breeze despite it being the summer months. We went in July and I will say that the cabin did get pretty hot during the day (your typical 100 degree Texas Hill Country summer day)...so you might want to go into Wimberly or do a water activity...

"The property is very nice with the large oaks and the cabins overlooking the river. Parking is close to each unit and each one has a nice small kitchen area with Kuereg, fridge/freezer, microwave and sink. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and clean. Very peaceful stay!"

"This is not the right place for you if you want hustle and bustle. It’s quiet but you can still see other guests if you want to. Love the personal fire pit and the lead so we could keep our dog with us. They thought of everything you might want—even a smores kit. It’s not “roughing it.” Good water pressure, cold AC, comfortable bed. Units are small but make the most of the space. Gorgeous picture window from which we watched a herd of deer run by one morning.
