"This location has the best night shift attendant. She helped us with a room on the first level and was just super friendly and down to earth. She is the main reason I am giving this such a high score. Our room smelled like mold as soon as you opened the door. Plus they have old nasty crusty red couches with ottoman in the room that have outlived their purpose and then some. I was afraid to set anything down on them. Other than that the room seemed clean but I expect a little more for my money ya...

"If you are looking to stay at the Italy Inn, you should know that it is the upstairs of a large convenience store. Not much there in ways of amenities or scenery, but it will do in a pinch. Room was clean and inexpensive. We were staying there for a local bike ride in Italy, Texas. Far from luxury, but good enough to get the job done"

"Only issue was the clerk at check in told us that breakfast was served until 10:00 am. On our last day there we went down for breakfast at 9:30am. There was no breakfast food out. I asked the clerk on staff what time did breakfast end and she said 9:30am. We missed out on having breakfast."

Only 1 out of 3 hinges of the connecting door to the adjacent room was attached to the door frame. We had to use that door to enter our relative's room when our brother-in-law fell in the bathroom. Their room had a walk-in shower but the curtain didn't prevent water from getting on the floor. The lobby area was not clean and the chairs in the breakfast area were badly stained. The bed...
