"Very impressed. Although the room was a bit dated it was spotlessly clean. The garden and views are very impressive and the staff were helpful. Lovely buffet breakfast and the swimming pool area was very modern. We used it twice and had it to ourselves! I'd put it above 3 stars."

"Three night stay away without the car for a change. Train station just 10 minutes away and taxi rank outside the hotel, well located. Staff all friendly and food is good. A little tatty in places and missed no plugs beside the bed, no hairdryer but not a massive thing. Totnes is definitely the place to go if you have a dog as everywhere caters for them."

"It was a beautiful weekend visit and we were made welcome as soon as we got through the door . Claire was so lovely to talk too ☺️ my partner Neil and I had a stunning room with a bed that I've honestly not slept better .just a short visit from Cornwall and it was perfect."
