"The apartment was IMMACULATELY clean, extremely comfortable and had everything I needed to be able to able my time here. "

"As it says on the tin quirky and cosy . Nice place for a single or a couple . Not suitable for a long stay but perfect for three or four days . Nice and clean decent cooking area and comfy bed . Not for anyone who has problems with steps . Steep steps upto the apartment and inside the apartment . Parking a problem ,i had to carry everthing from the car park as no on street parking near the apartment . Ok for a young couple "

"Sonachon house is now under new owners Leanne and Aaron. They were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with full English, cereals, toast, and yoghurt on offer. They also provide some towels for the beach as well as free loan of bucket and spades.There is a spacious communal lounge which was really nice to relax in over a cup of coffee. Rooms were clean and nice ensuite shower room. Aaron tells me that he is planning to offer fishing trips next year for guests. A most enjoyable...

"The property had everything we needed. The bed was comfy. It was a lovely quiet area and the large garden was good for the dogs, although we would normally choose somewhere that has private outside space. Overall we had a lovely week’s stay."

"Amazing property and very clean. The only suggestion I would make is for the property management to email the access key information rather than text it to guests with international numbers. I never received the information so I had to call and that resulted in a delay in check-in. Other than that everything was perfect. "

The location is great for access to the town and both front and back beaches. We also took the nearby foot-ferry to Shaldon and had a super time exploring there. We'll be happy to stay again."

"My daughter snd I stayed for two nights at this delightful property. The ferry is close by, and it was very easy to find once we’d crossed over from Dartmouth. It was very, very quiet, which we loved and we heard beautiful birdsong in the mornings. Place is cute and cosy, and we had all the amenities we needed. A short walk away is a “general “ shop. And also within quick walking distance are two pubs with great food. The wee private garden was wonderful, as well. Would definitely come back!"

"A spacious well maintained and equipped flat. Lovely and warm with everything you could want. The only thing lacking is there is no freezer. Not for the infirm either as there are 2 steep staircases to get to the flat"

"Plus: v clean & tidy. Modern equipment.comfy sofas.parking. Cons: slippery shower base - needs a rubber mat.need booklet on equipment to explain the controls. Needs a secondary form of heating eg oil fired electric radiator."

"Very smart well equipped apartment. it had everything you could need. Superb location with great terrace and views.. Very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, great lounge and kitchen. If you are going into Torquay go through the garden and down the steps, very quick and easy (we got taxis back!). We did struggle a bit with the electric ceiling heating, although the instructions were comprehensive it was difficult to know if it worked."
